Fulham to win and over 3.5 goals vs Preston

The league leaders will be looking to strengthen their position at the top of the Championship on Saturday, as Fulham entertain Preston at Craven Cottage. The Cottagers are a point above Bournemouth at the top of the table, as the two clubs peer away from the others in the division and battle it out at the summit.

Fulham are on a very strong run of form, unbeaten in their last eight games, winning seven, as Marco Silva’s men push for an immediate return to the Premier League. The London outfit only managed a draw on Wednesday with the stalemate against Derby, so will want to return to winning ways against 14th placed Preston.

Blackburn to win and both teams to score vs Stoke

Two big teams with an eye on promotion meet this weekend, with Stoke taking on Blackburn at the Bet365 Stadium. The hosts are sixth in the table, one point off both Coventry and QPR, who occupy fifth and sixth spots respectively, but elsewhere, the Potters are also just two points away from third-placed West Brom.

Michael O’Neil’s men were on a great run, with three successive Championship wins in a row, before a 1-0 defeat in midweek against Bristol City put a stop to that.

Blackburn are unbeaten in their last three, cruising to a 4-0 win at home to Peterborough on Wednesday and Rovers could go above Stoke with a win, sitting just a point behind. Ben Brereton scored two in midweek as he continues his crazy streak of scoring and will be the key man for the visitors on Saturday.

The Chile international has 16 goals in 19 Championship appearances this season – bettered only by Fulham’s Aleksandr Mitrovic.

Swansea City to win, BTTS, 4+ corners each team and 20+ booking points each team v Reading

It’s been a dismal few weeks for Reading and Swansea City can pile on more misery with a win this weekend when the Royals travel to the Liberty Stadium.

The Welsh outfit have won three of their last five, as they push for a play-off spot as the Swans are now ninth and four points off the top six after a comfortable 2-0 win over Barnsley on Wednesday.

Reading have lost three of their last five, as they have also picked up a points deduction last week due to financial problems. It’s seen Veljko Paunović’s side drop to just one place above the relegation zone, two points above Peterborough.

Peterborough to win vs Barnsley

This weekend sees a big Championship relegation scrap, with 23rd placed Barnsley travelling to 22nd-placed Peterborough United. Both sides are in dire positions at the bottom, with the Posh without a win in their last five league fixtures, and Barnsley losing their last three in a row and ultimately, both are set for troublesome seasons it seems.

Darren Ferguson’s side will be leaning on home advantage to see them through the crunch tie and will fancy their chances of getting a big result against the team four points below them.

Bournemouth to win and Dominic Solanke to score

Bournemouth will be hoping to keep chase with Fulham at the top of the Championship as they host in-form play-off chasers, Coventry City, at the Vitality on Saturday.

The Cherries will be after a return to winning ways after a surprising defeat to Derby last week. Scott Parker’s side then drew away to Millwall on Wednesday, seeing them miss the chance to jump above first-placed Fulham. Dominic Solanke scored the opener in the midweek fixture and has 15 goals from 19 games this season and he can add another to his tally against fifth-placed Coventry, who have drawn their last two league games.
