Bayern Munich have been in red-hot form lately, which puts newly promoted SpVgg Greuther Furth in danger ahead of their Bundesliga tie on Friday night as the German champions travel to Furth on the back of some huge results.
Julien Nagelsmann’s side thrashed Hertha Berlin 5-0 before hammering last year’s runners-up, RB Leipzig, 4-1 away from home. They then convincingly beat Barcelona 3-0 at the Nou Camp in the Champions League before returning to league action when they beat VFL Bochum by seven goals to nil.
It shows just how ruthless Lewandowski and co can be, which will certainly see Furth fans fearing an annihilation. The home side are rock bottom of the Bundesliga, with just one point from their opening five games. They’ve also conceded thirteen goals in the league already, which doesn’t bode well for Friday night’s game. Bayern will surely win, and you wouldn’t put it past them scoring five or more goals.
