Chelsea vs West Brom – West Brom 20+ Booking Points

Chelsea’s amazing run of form under Thomas Tuchel is one of the best transformations the Premier League seen in recent times. The German took over from Frank Lampard in January and has since conceded just two goals in 14 games, turning the Blues into a real threat for next season’s Premier League title.

Tuchel’s possession-based football has made defending a rarity and when called upon the back three/five have proven solid enough to deal with most attacks. They should have no issue in controlling the game at Stamford Bridge on Saturday as they host West Brom who have scored just 20 goals this season and average just 38.4% possession, the lowest in the league.

Now 10 points behind 17th placed Newcastle United, Sam Allardyce’s West Brom are desperate for points and will need an incredible run of form if they are to pull off a great escape. The Baggies have had 20+ booking points in their last three games against teams in the 'Big Six', including five yellow cards against Manchester United, where they had just 27% possession.

We expect a similar low-possession game for West Brom and their desperation for points could well see them jump into tackles. Sky Bet are offering odds of 6/5 for the visitors to get 20+ booking points in Saturday’s early kick-off in London.

Leeds United vs Sheffield United – Leeds United (-1)

Elland Road plays host to a rare Premier League Yorkshire derby, where Leeds United are the clear favourites against Sheffield United. Marcelo Bielsa’s free-flowing Leeds are the joint sixth highest scorers in the division and three of their last four home wins have come by a goal margin of at least two goals.

Meanwhile, Paul Heckingbottom returns to his old stomping ground to take charge of his second game in charge of the Blades after a disappointing 5-0 defeat to Leicester in his first game. Sheffield United have scored just one goal in their last seven and look doomed for relegation, having not scored away from home since January.

Leeds should win this comfortably and we expect star striker Patrick Bamford to be out to prove Gareth Southgate wrong for not calling him up for England selection. Leeds United to win the game with a (-1) goal handicap is priced at 6/4 and a 3-0 win for the hosts is 10/1.

Newcastle United vs Tottenham Hotspur – Tottenham Win to Nil

After Fulham’s recent run of form, Newcastle fans are now well and truly looking over their shoulders with worry as relegation has become a very real possibility. Under-fire manager Steve Bruce looks set to remain in charge, despite six games without a win and this weekend they take on a Spurs side who have won four of their last five games.

However, the return of their main man Callum Wilson will keep fans hopeful, as the Magpies have scored just three goals in their last six games and are up against a tough defence in Tottenham Hotspur.

Spurs bounced back from an embarrassing Europa League exit with a 2-0 win at Aston Villa and have conceded just one goal in their last six wins. Jose Mourinho’s side will need a strong finish to the season to secure a Champions League spot and will be well up for the game, although there may be concerns over tired legs following the international break.

We expect a regulation win for Tottenham as they continue to chase the top four and Sky Bet are offering odds of 13/8 for them to win to nil.

Everton vs Crystal Palace – Everton to win 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1

After winning three consecutive Premier League games, Everton have not lost three on the bounce in all competitions but have a great opportunity to get back on track as they face Crystal Palace at Goodison Park. The Toffee’s last nine Premier League wins have come by a scoreline of 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 and a lack of confidence may lead to this being a tighter game than many would anticipate.

It is fair to say that Crystal Palace have been relatively lucky to lose just one of their last five games, managing just five shots on target in four games before hosting West Brom. Palace haven’t beaten Everton in 12 attempts, a run stretching back to 2014 and given their lack of creativity of late, we expect them to struggle, despite keeping three clean sheets in their last four games.

Crystal Palaces defensive solidarity means that this will be a tough game for Everton, but we expect them to pick up three points. An Everton win with a scoreline of 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 is 13/8.

Wolves vs West Ham United – West Ham to Win

Wolverhampton Wanderers have picked up just two points in their last four games, although their two defeats were to Manchester City and Liverpool. They face another tough game at Molineux on Monday night as they take on high flying West Ham United, who they have beaten at home in both of their two seasons since returning to the Premier League.

However, this season’s West Ham is a much tougher task, and they will go into the game as the underdogs.
David Moyes’ side are arguably the story of the season, as they attempt to get into the Champions League after an impressive run of form in the past five months.

New signing, Jesse Lingard, has proven to be a coup as he has rediscovered his form of the 2017/18 season with five goals in seven games and we expect them to finish the season strong after a tough run of fixtures which has seen them face four of the ‘Big Six’ in their last five games.

West Ham go into the game as favourites and are 6/4 to get the win as they look to apply pressure on Chelsea, Leicester and Man Utd towards the back end of the season.
