Blackburn Rovers striker Ben Brereton Diaz has attracted plenty of interest for his signature, following an impressive campaign with Chile at the Copa America last summer, as well as his goalscoring form in the Championship this season which has seen the 22-year-old Stoke-on-Trent forward born forward fire in 13 goals in 17 Championship matches.

Ben Brereton Diaz Next Club Odds
West Ham Odds: 9/1
West Ham United are reportedly interested in the Chilean striker as David Moyes is reportedly looking to strengthen his side as the Hammers are pursuing European football in back to back seasons following an impressive start to the campaign.
The Hammers are still without a backup striker for Michail Antonio following the sale of Sebastien Haller to Ajax in January 2021, meaning that they could be left short up-front if the former Nottingham Forest man is to pickup an injury. Diaz would offer a similar option to Antonio, as he is pacey, industrious and has plied his trade in the Championship like the Jamaica international and could even offer a strike partner option with the likes of Jarrod Bowen being linked with clubs such as Liverpool.
Newcastle United Odds: 10/1
It is well known that Newcastle will have a hefty transfer budget to spend in January, as there have been rumours circulating that the Magpies could have up to £200m to spend under Eddie Howe as they look to avoid relegation from the Premier League.
Howe is known for playing attacking football, of which Brereton could enhance his chances of playing this style, alongside former Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson and skilful French winger Allan Saint-Maximin, as the Chilean can also play as a left-winger. It is also well known that when Wilson is unavailable, Newcastle struggle to score goals, so this could be a logical signing.
Newcastle are priced at 10/1 to sign Diaz in the January transfer window.
Norwich City Odds: 12/1
Norwich City will be looking to strengthen their squad in January under new manager Dean Smith, as the Canaries will be looking to add more goals to their squad having only managed five in 11 matches, a statistic which will have to significantly improve if they’re to have any chance of survival.
Smith is known for liking quick attackers, as he had at Villa with the likes of Anwar El Ghazi, Trezeguet, Leon Bailey and Ollie Watkins and Diaz would suit this style due to his pace and goalscoring prowess which could be a good alternative option to Teemu Pukki, as the Finnish striker has often struggled to adapt to life in England’s top-flight.
Norwich have the odds of 12/1 to sign Brereton in the January window.
AC Milan Odds: 14/1
The final team on this list of clubs that are interested in Diaz is AC Milan who have been going under a squad rebuild in the last few seasons under Stefano Pioli.
The Rossoneri are very much stuck in their own ways striker wise, as they have both Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic who are both target man strikers due to the physical traits which they possess. Diaz would offer a different option up-front, as Portuguese forward Rafael Leao has moved out as a winger.
There is a proven track record over Chileans doing well in Serie A, such as Gary Medel, Arturo Vidal and Alexis Sanchez, potentially paving a pathway for Brereton to move abroad in the future.
