Harry Wilson Next Club Odds

It's become a rather 'sad' narrative in modern football that those clubs that suffer relegation from the Premier League, will inevitably be picked apart and have their best players snapped off them.

The drop-off in revenue between the top-flight and the Championship makes such sales inevitable, with the repeated trend already taking place this summer.

Bournemouth have no doubt been the worst off - not only have they lost their long-serving manager and legendary figure in Eddie Howe, but Callum Wilson and Ryan Fraser have also departed. Both figures were integral to their five-year stay in the Premier League.

Josh King also looks destined to leave and another name that we could be adding to this list is Harry Wilson. Of course, the midfielder was only at the club on loan, but the 23-year-old would likely have stayed on, should relegation had been avoided.

With there being no real openings in Liverpool's squad, Wilson looks set for a fourth loan spell away from the club, or a permanent exit altogether. We've had a look into his next club odds below and yes, loan deals do count in this market.

Leeds United the favourites

Leeds United have already enjoyed a productive summer - new club record signing Rodrigo has inevitably got fans excited, whilst the permanent arrivals of Helder Costa and Robin Kolch bolster their squad's depth in both numbers and quality.

Would Harry Wilson be the icing on top? The midfielder would certainly add another avenue to find goals, having registered a respectable 7 in the Premier League last season.

Mateusz Klich scored the same number during the same campaign, but in 16 more games, across all comps. Wilson is certainly a more creative figure, and despite his age, could add some PL quality into the newly-promoted squad.

At 7/2, they are the favourites to capture his signature.

Newcastle to continue strengthening?

Having already secured Wilson and Fraser, could Newcastle United make it a triple signing from Bournemouth's 19/20 squad?

The Toon Army have finally started to show some intent this summer, with Jamal Lewis also expected to arrive soon.

Similar to Leeds, they have been in the market for goals, as the above two confirmed signings highlight. Wilson would further bolster these options, and he is experienced operating in a midfield three.

Steve Bruce has odds of 6/1 to sign the 23-year-old.

Brighton and Fulham given same price

Fulham are the second newly-promoted side to make this list, as such clubs will often look to loan deals to cost-efficiently strengthen their squads. With Mario Lemina and Harrison Reed already through the doors though, is Scott Parker in the market for another central figure?

Wilson is a versatile figure, but Fulham look well equipped down the flanks too. Josh Onomah, Anthony Knockaert and Neeskens Kebano are all capable of operating across the park, meaning Parker may opt for new defensive figures instead.

As opposed to the Cottagers, Brighton do look to be on the prowl for a new creative midfielder. Aaron Mooy departing for China was one of the 'shock moves' of the summer, creating space for a Wilson-like signing. Adam Lallana has already come through the doors, but Graham Potter needs more depth in quality.

Fulham and Brighton have both been priced up at 7/1 to sign the Liverpool figure this summer.

Aston Villa Odds to sign Harry Wilson

According to The Daily Mirror, Aston Villa are leading the way to sign Wilson this summer.

Dean Smith looks set to welcome Ollie Watkins through the door, and the Liverpool midfielder would no doubt further strengthen their chances of survival again next season.

As we saw through passages of play during the last campaign, Villa's gameplan is often forced through Jack Grealish. The Englishman is his side's main creative source, but such responsibilities need relieving in the middle.

Wilson could do exactly that, given his tendency to roam into spaces and play forward whenever possible.

At 8/1, Villa's price looks to be generous.
