Jack Harrison Transfer News & Odds

Leeds United winger Jack Harrison has been linked with a move away from Leeds United due to his impressive form for the Elland Road club last season.

The 25-year-old Stoke-on-Trent-born winger managed eight goals and one assist in 35 appearances for Leeds last campaign, scoring the goal that sealed their survival on the last day of the season away at Brentford.

Since joining from Manchester City back in 2018 on what was effectively a three-year loan deal until the transfer was made permanent last year, Harrison has scored 28 goals and created 22 assists in 165 matches for the Yorkshire club, seeing him become a real crowd favourite.

Tottenham Hotspur Odds: 6/1

Tottenham are reportedly one of many clubs interested in Harrison’s signature as Antonio Conte looks to make additions to his squad in an attempt to solidify the Lilywhites chances of finishing in the Champions League places in back-to-back seasons.

Spurs are expected to play Ivan Perisic as a left-wing-back, meaning that Harrison could be good cover for last season’s Golden Boot winner Son Heung-min should the Korean either suffer an injury or be made to play up top if Harry Kane is absent.

With Harrison being a versatile and quick winger that can play on either side, he could be very useful in Conte’s system, especially with having a lot of pace and energy to offer a threat on the counter.

Newcastle United Odds: 8/1

Newcastle United have also been linked with Harrison’s signature, as Eddie Howe looks to build a side that will once again push up the Premier League standings, having overtaken the Magpies when they were at the bottom of the table, before finishing the campaign in 11th place.

With rumours persisting that Allan Saint-Maximin could be sold to fund extra incoming transfers, as well as the St James’ Park club needing another option for left-wing in general, the signing of Harrison could be a good one as ultimately, he wouldn’t set the Magpies back too much in terms of transfer fee, whilst also offering another home grown player should they qualify for European football in the near future.

Newcastle are priced at 8/1 to acquire Harrison from Leeds.

Everton Odds: 16/1

Everton will be determined to significantly strengthen their squad following a disastrous campaign last time out that saw the Toffees narrowly survive relegation from the Premier League.

With Andros Townsend recovering from a cruciate knee ligament injury, there will be some doubts as to whether the former Crystal Palace man can make a full recovery at the age of 30, whilst the Toffees will need more options in general, especially with the interest that Brazilian inside forward Richarlison is bringing, with Tottenham and Chelsea looking to battle for his signature.

Harrison would be a good signing for Everton if they are to look at a replacement for the Richarlison, as the English winger scored just two fewer goals than the ex-Watford forward last season.

Harrison is priced at 16/1 to make the switch from Elland Road to Goodison Park in the summer.

West Ham United Odds: 20/1

The final team on this list is West Ham United, a side who Harrison notably scored a hat-trick against last season for a depleted Leeds side back in January as they beat the Hammers 3-2 at the London Stadium.

David Moyes’ men managed to qualify for European football in back-to-back seasons last time out via a seventh-place finish, giving them Europa Conference League football in the 2022/23 season, something which West Ham will be determined to try and win having gone as far as the Europa League semi-finals last campaign.

With Andriy Yarmolenko departing the London Stadium at the end season upon the expiry of his contract, the Irons will need to find a replacement for the Ukrainian, with Harrison being a potential option for the Hammers.

Harrison is priced at 20/1 to move to West Ham for the 2022/23 season.
