Nat Phillips Next Club Odds

Sean Dyche Burnley

Nat Phillips transfer odds: Newcastle

After a breakout campaign for Liverpool in which he’s done a good job at filling in for their defensive injury problems, Nat Phillips could leave Anfield for regular first team football, with Newcastle the favourites to sign him. Rumours are circling that after successfully steering the Magpies away from relegation, Steve Bruce could be handed the funds to strengthen his side in the summer.

The defence could be an area that Bruce looks at, with doubts about Jamal Lascelles’ future along with Fabian Schar entering the final year of his contract. Phillips could be brought on to get regular first team in action at St James’ Park and improve their backline.

Odds are 4/1 with Sky Bet for Newcastle to sign Nat Phillips.

Nat Phillips transfer odds: burnley

If reports are to be believed, Burnley could also be on the hunt for a new centre back to replace one of their star defenders in the summer. James Tarkowski has been linked to moves away from Turf Moor, with Leicester City being the most likely destination for the English central defender. If that is to be the case and the move goes through, Sean Dyche could look to Phillips as a cheap replacement for the former Brentford man.

Phillips does have the credentials of a typical, no-nonsense, English defender that would be a perfect fit for Burnley. The 24-year-old could also be available for a relatively cheap fee, with it looking as though Phillips will be surplus to requirements in Merseyside after the arrival of Ibrahim Konate from RB Leipzig, as well as the long-awaited returns of Virgil van Dijk, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez nearing closer adding to the stacked list of defenders at Anfield. That could pave the way for Liverpool to offload Phillips for a small fee.

Odds are 5/1 with Sky Bet for Nat Phillips to join Burnley.

Nat Phillips transfer odds: Palace

Following Roy Hodgson’s departure, it could be time for a new era at Crystal Place. The new manager, whoever it will end up being, will have some rebuilding to do at Selhurst Park and it will likely start with the defence.

The likes of 34-year-old Scott Dann and 35-year-old Gary Cahill are expected to leave the south London outfit, along with Mamadou Sakho who has had a lot of injury problems that have hindered his playing time. It leaves Palace short on players at the heart of their defence, which could pave the way for a move for Phillips, who would likely be a cheap option to pursue.

Skybet have a 6/1 price on Phillips joining Palace, and it all seems to depend on the next manager this one.

Nat Phillips transfer odds: west ham

The Hammers could be another side looking for reinforcements at the back, with Phillips’ name reportedly in mind. With a Europa League campaign to consider as well, David Moyes’ side could need some extra centre-backs to keep their squad fresh and it is believed that other than Jesse Lingard, this is their main aim.

Fabian Balbuena made 14 appearances for the London outfit last season but will leave the London Stadium when his contract expires at the end of the month. Philips could make a good addition to the squad and even form a partnership with Issa Diop at the heart of the Irons defence.

Sky Bet have a 6/1 price on West Ham signing Phillips in the summer.

Nat Phillips transfer odds: brighton

Brighton could be another side looking for replacements, with some of their best players being linked with a move away from the AMEX. One of those could be Ben White, with interest from Arsenal to name a few and without White with them moving forward, a huge gap gets left behind for Brighton.

With Graham Potter favouring a set-up with three central defenders, the Seagulls could need another defender to bolster their options at the back. Phillips could be a welcome addition to the south coast side, but Brighton are still the outsiders for the Englishman’s signature, mainly because they will want to replace White with more experience.

Sky Bet have 20/1 odds on Brighton to be Nat Phillips’ next club.
