Serge Gnabry Transfer News & Odds

Winger Serge Gnabry has been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich in recent months, and with only a year left on the German's contract, the club may look to cash in on him so that they don't lose him for free.

Gnabry seems to have fallen out of favour in Bavaria, only completing a full 90 minutes in just nine of his 29 Bundesliga appearances this season, and has not completed a full 90 minutes in Bayern's Champions League campaign this season, with the most he has played being 85 minutes against Benfica on matchday four of the group stages.

And with Kingsley Coman and Leroy Sane both putting in impressive performances as they look to establish themselves under manager Julian Nagelsmann as first-choice pair of wingers, and the emergence of young central midfielder Jamal Musiala who is also capable of playing out wide, the competition for places may force Gnabry to look to join another club in the summer.

Indeed, the reason why Gnabry initially left Arsenal to join the Bavarians was due to his frustration at not starting often under Arsene Wenger - despite Gnabry's obvious talent, there were simply other players in the Arsenal squad who Arsene Wenger preferred to deploy in attacking areas, and that is why the German left.

So, this is why he may be making a move across Europe this summer, and here are the main clubs he's been linked with...

Real Madrid Odds: 3/1

Real Madrid have been in the market for a wide player for quite some time now, with the pursuit of Kylian Mbappe the talking point of many recent transfer windows. But with the complicated financial nature of such a deal potentially stopping that move from occurring, Carlo Ancelotti will be looking at alternatives to Mbappe, and Gnabry is one.

Gnabry is a player of a similar profile to Mbappe, with his pace and trickery an asset that is effective at beating opposition defenders. And with Eden Hazard struggling for form, whilst suffering recurring injuries ever since his big-money move to the Bernabeu, Real Madrid are reportedly looking at moving him on soon.

Fellow winger Gareth Bale is also likely to leave the club in the summer, with his contract expiring in June. And with Bale's astronomical wages and constant battles with fans and the Spanish media also a problem, he is certain to leave in the summer.

Therefore, a move for the clinical Gnabry, who has no notorious injury record and is likely to accept a lower wage offer than what Bale or Hazard earn, is a very attractive proposition for Los Blancos.

With Lucas Vazquez and Marco Asensio in inconsistent form, Gnabry would also be a better attacking option for Madrid than the Spanish duo. And with his wealth of experience in European football, he could also be a mentor to Madrid's younger star attackers such as Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior.

Gnabry is much better than what Madrid currently have and would fit in well in their frontline, and so the odds of a transfer to Real Madrid are currently at 3/1 - click on the link to claim this bet in your bet slip!

Juventus Odds: 4/1

Juventus will also be in the market for a new attacker in the summer, and Gnabry is a name that has been linked with the Old Lady.

After embarrassingly being knocked out by Villarreal in the Champions League by an aggregate score of 4-1, they currently sit fourth in the Serie A table, on course to go a second successive year without winning the Scudetto after previously winning it nine times on the trot. It has been a poor year for the club, and they will be looking to make a statement of intent for next season with their summer business.

With Federico Bernardeschi having a poor season in front of goal and being out of contract in the summer, he could be sold to make way for Gnabry who has 24 goal involvements in 40 appearances in all competitions this season, a fantastic figure in comparison to Bernardeschi's mere seven-goal involvements in 29 appearances.

And whilst Juventus already possess the impressive Federico Chiesa, the Italian actually suffered a cruciate ligament rupture in January and has been out of action since. And with cruciate ligament ruptures being among the most severe injuries that footballers can pick up, it is impossible to tell if, when fully recovered, will Juventus still have the pacy, tricky player that they paid €40m for, or will he be a shadow of his former self? It is difficult to tell. Therefore, bringing in a replacement like Gnabry would make sense in case Chiesa is not the same player he once was.

A move to Juventus is currently at 4/1 odds.

Liverpool Odds: 8/1

With Mohamed Salah still failing to agree on a new contract at the club and Sadio Mane being linked with a move away to La Liga giants Barcelona & Real Madrid, is it finally time for Liverpool fans to see a new face in their forward line?

With still no agreement between Salah's representatives and the Liverpool hierarchy on his new contract, it is possible that Salah may finally leave the club where he has established himself as one of the best players in the world.

Fellow African winger Mane has also been linked with a move away to one of La Liga's top two sides, and so with these worrying reports about two of the club's key men, could officials already have a plan in place? There have been murmurings of signing Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele in the press, but one name that cannot be ruled out is Serge Gnabry.

The German winger offers a goalscoring threat, the ability to beat a man and is blessed with electric pace - attributes that Salah and Mane have in abundance. So, he could be the perfect replacement if any of the African duo were to leave the club.

Gnabry may also still be signed even if Salah and Mane do stay, with Takumi Minamino likely to leave in the summer. The Japanese international has failed to impress since his move from RB Salzburg, registering just 13 goals in 54 appearances. Gnabry has 14 goals this season alone. So, just as Luis Diaz was signed to act as cover but also as a starter if required, Gnabry could also fulfil this role if required and if Minamino was sold by the club.

Whether a move to Liverpool will materialise is difficult to tell, but the current odds are at 8/1.
