5 Players to Consider for FPL Gameweek 10

Jordan

Patson Daka (Leicester) - £5.7m

With pressure mounting on Brendan Rodgers, he’ll be looking to his strikers to get Leicester back on the right track against Crystal Palace this weekend.

Patson Daka has been in good form for the Foxes in recent weeks, despite their terrible position at the foot of the Premier League. Daka has kept out the likes of Jamie Vardy and Kelechi Iheanacho up front for Leicester, following two goals in his last two games. Daka opened the scoring last time out against Bournemouth before his side went on to fall apart and concede twice in the second half as the Cherries turned the game on its head.

It's a game that could go either way at the King Power on Saturday, and with Daka likely to lead the line again, he could be worth keeping an eye on.

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace) - 5.4m

Crystal Palace will be hoping that their talented side can heap more misery on Leicester on Saturday and emerge from the King Power with all three points.

Eberechi Eze is one to consider adding to your FPL side, after the midfielder picked up ten points last time out against Leeds. Eze scored the winner in that 2-1 win and also received an extra three bonus. He’ll fancy his chances of adding to his tally of 34 points so far this season, against a Leicester side that has statistically the worst defence in the league, conceding more than any other side.

Andreas Pereira (Fulham) - £4.6m

It’s the battle between last season’s first and second in the Championship, with Fulham hosting Bournemouth this weekend. Both teams have enjoyed good starts to the season and find themselves in the top half at this early stage.

Andreas Pereira has looked sharp at times for Fulham this season, and at the very low price of £4.6m, could be a steal heading into Saturday’s tie between two teams that will look to take the game to each other.

The former Manchester United playmaker opened his account with a thunderous strike against West Ham, and although he went on to give away a harsh penalty which allowed the Hammers back into the game, he offered plenty going forward for the Cottagers and is always capable of pulling a stunning goal out of his locker.

Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea) - £4.4m

If you’re looking for a good, cheap goalkeeper – Kepa Arrizabalaga could be an option worth looking at!

Kepa has been the number two ‘keeper at Chelsea in recent seasons, hence the small price tag, ever since the arrival of Edouard Mendy.

However, new Blues boss Graham Potter has shown new faith in the Spanish shot-stopper and the 28-year-old has been a permanent fixture in Potter’s Chelsea sides so far.

Kepa is the only player to have featured in every minute under Graham Potter’s reign and after three consecutive clean sheets in all competitions, that looks unlikely to change ahead of Chelsea’s trip to Aston Villa this weekend.

Villa are in 16th spot in the table and have managed just two goals in their last three league games. Chelsea will be eager to carry on their good run of form under their new manager following the midweek win in Milan. This could result in a quiet game for Kepa, with the away side expected to control game.

Max Kilman (Wolves) - £4.5m

A cheap option to consider at centre-back could be Wolves’ ever-present defender Max Kilman.

Whilst Wolves have struggled this season, this weekend offers the Midlands outfit a chance to return to winning ways against a Nottingham Forest side who find themselves below them in the table.

Kilman has started every game this season for Wolves, and with a struggling Forest side being the visitors at Molineux, the centre-back can add to the 30 FPL points he has earned so far.
