Liverpool will be looking to keep their momentum going with another win this weekend. Jurgen Klopp’s side travel to the City Ground to take on a struggling Nottingham Forest.

Forest have won just once in their 11 games this season, losing six and drawing three of their last nine league games since the win at home to West Ham in August. Last season’s Championship play-off winners have struggled to find goals, failing to score in three of their last four league games, including the goalless stalemate with Brighton on Tuesday.

After a disappointing start to the season, Liverpool will be hoping their season is back on track following the massive win over Manchester City in their last Sunday. The Merseyside outfit followed that up with another win in midweek, beating West Ham at Anfield, taking them up to seventh in the table. Darwin Nunez got the winner on Wednesday night and is likely to lead the line again this weekend following Diogo Jota’s long-term injury.

Two teams eager to return to winning ways meet at Villa Park on Saturday, with Aston Villa hosting Brentford.

Villa fans will be after a response following the 3-0 defeat to Fulham which ended Steven Gerrard’s reign in charge. It’s just one win in their last eight league fixtures for the Villains, who will be hoping that whoever is in charge this weekend can see an improvement.

Brentford haven’t been in the best form heading into the weekend, with two wins in their last six league games. They did manage to earn a point against Chelsea in midweek following the 0-0 draw. They’ll be looking to take advantage of a managerless Villa side, but it may not be easy against an outfit looking to provide a reply following the sacking of their manager, in front of their home fans.

Wolves and Leicester have both endured disappointing starts to this Premier League season, with both of them in the bottom three. The two sides meet at Molineux on Sunday, hunting for three big points.

Wolves are 18th in the table after four defeats in their last five. Adama Traore put them in front against Crystal Palace on Tuesday before the Eagles came from behind to condemn Wolves to their sixth defeat of the season.

Leicester are one place below their weekend opponents before Sunday’s huge clash. Brendan Rodgers’ side picked up a win on Thursday at home to Leeds, just their second league win of the season.

Goals have been hard to come by for Wolves this season, with just two in their last five games. With two struggling teams going head-to-head, it could be another tense, low-scoring affair.

Manchester City host Brighton at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, with Pep Guardiola’s men needing a win to keep pace with Arsenal at the top.

City haven’t played since that defeat last week to Liverpool. It leaves them four points adrift of the Gunners heading into the weekend. The defeat at Anfield was their first of the season, after going their opening nine games without defeat.

Brighton had a decent start to the season but have slipped up in recent weeks. Roberto De Zerbi is yet to pick up a win after taking over from Graham Potter. The former Sassuolo boss has seen the Seagulls draw away to Liverpool before consecutive defeats against Spurs and Brentford, followed up by the 0-0 draw at home to Nottingham Forest in midweek.

De Zerbi’s men have struggled in front of goal, failing to score in their last three league games. With City expected to dominate, it could be the same again on Saturday.

Everton will be hoping their poor run of form can come to an end at home to Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Frank Lampard’s side sit in 15th place, having lost three games on the bounce. A 30th-minute striker from Miguel Almiron saw Newcastle claim all three points against the Toffees on Wednesday night.

Crystal Palace have been in good form in recent weeks, with two wins and a draw in their last three fixtures. The Eagles managed to turn the game around and pick up all three points against Wolves, moving Patrick Viera’s men into 11th place.

Eberechi Eze grabbed Palace’s first goal to start the comeback on Tuesday and has been one of the standout players for the South London outfit this season. He’ll be hopeful of adding more to his goalscoring tally against a struggling Everton side this weekend.
