Liverpool will be looking to keep their momentum going with another win this weekend. Jurgen Klopp’s side travel to the City Ground to take on a struggling Nottingham Forest.
The hosts are second-from-bottom, in the relegation zone and three points from safety as Steve Cooper tries to steer his entirely new squad in the right direction. Forest have won just once in their 11 games this season, losing six and drawing three of their last nine league games since the win at home to West Ham in August. Last season’s Championship play-off winners have struggled to find goals, failing to score in three of their last four league games, including the goalless stalemate with Brighton on Tuesday.
After a disappointing start to the season, Liverpool will be hoping their season is back on track following the massive win over Manchester City in their last Sunday. The Merseyside outfit followed that up with another win in midweek, beating West Ham at Anfield, taking them up to seventh in the table. Darwin Nunez got the winner on Wednesday night and is likely to lead the line again this weekend following Diogo Jota’s long-term injury.
