Leeds and Bournemouth lock horns at Elland Road on Saturday, with both teams after a big win that would help put a bit of daylight between them and the bottom three.
Leeds are 15th in the table, one point above the relegation zone. Jesse Marsch’s job looked to be in jeopardy after four defeats in a row and without a league win since August, but the incredible win at Anfield against Liverpool last weekend could have provided a lifeline for Marsch and the West Yorkshire outfit. It could act as a catalyst for Leeds going forward to get some momentum together.
Bournemouth find themselves a place above Leeds heading into the weekend’s fixture, with just one point separating the two. The Cherries are also in a disappointing run of form, with three defeats in a row.
If both sides go for the important win, it could be an entertaining contest with plenty of goals.
