Bet365: 6 Scores Challenge Gameweek 12 Predictions

Bet365: 6 Scores Challenge Gameweek 12 Predictions

The 6 Scores Challenge players were presented with some surprising results in the Premier League last time out, with the £250,000 jackpot prize left untouched ahead of the return to Premier League action.

However, three lucky players won’t be complaining as five correct scores ensured a share of £20,000 for each of them, and more than 47% of the total players were able to come out with a prize in the free-to-play game.

6 Scores Challenge

At a pre-match price of 25/1, only 1.45% of players correctly predicted Brentford’s late 3-2 victory over Bournemouth, with this being the fixture catching the majority of players out. This was closely followed by West Ham’s 0-0 home draw against Everton in which 1.97% of customers correctly predicted the outcome.

The most heavily backed successful score line of the weekend was Chelsea’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal with a resounding 24.4% of players guessing correctly.

It just goes to show how easy it is to walk away with something, even if it has been a difficult week to predict results. Whether it was one correct guess, or five, the 6 Scores Challenge offers up consolation prizes if players fall short of winning that £250,000 jackpot, all at the cost of nothing.

With the last international break until March finally out of the way, can there be a lucky jackpot winner this week?

6 Scores Challenge Fixtures

Bournemouth v Brighton | Saturday 15:00 | Make your prediction here

The last five games for Bournemouth shows the story of their season so far, with two wins and two defeats sandwiching a draw in the middle. The Cherries are sitting comfortably in 12th position, and have shown their home strengths with wins over Man City and Arsenal, but narrow defeats on the road prevent them from fully kicking on.

Brighton recovered from their defeat at Anfield to stun Champions Manchester City, with two late goals turning the match on its head last time out. Joao Pedro’s return can help the Seagulls build upon their strong start to the season, in which they sit in 6th place, where they’re level on points with Chelsea in third. Brighton have only tasted defeat twice this season with both losses coming on the road, so they will be hoping to improve that form this weekend.

Arsenal v Nottm Forest | Saturday 15:00 | Make your prediction here

Arsenal are currently on their worst run for quite some time with only one win out of the last five league games, on top of a recent UEFA Champions League defeat at the San Siro. Mikel Arteta’s men will be hoping to turn around their fortunes at home to a high-flying Nottingham Forest side this weekend to try and close the nine point gap between them and Liverpool.

Despite defeat to Newcastle last time out, Nottingham Forest are still having their best start to a season since 1980; the year they were crowned champions of Europe. The result was just a slight blot on the formbook of Nuno Espirito Santo’s team who sit level on points with their hosts, with just one goal separating them in the table. If they are to have a chance at the Emirates they will need talismanic striker Chris Wood to be firing on all cylinders. The New Zealander has scored eight goals from eleven games, and has a conversion rate that is better than scoring every one-in-three of his shots.

Everton v Brentford | Saturday 15:00 | Make your prediction here

Goals are becoming increasingly hard to come by for The Toffees, with only Crystal Palace and Southampton scoring less than them in the league this season. Jordan Pickford’s heroics last time out secured a point for Everton away at West Ham, and England’s number one will likely be busy again this weekend. A win here is absolutely vital as Sean Dyche’s team aim to pull clear of the drop zone.

With five wins and five losses in their opening eleven games of the season, Brentford sit comfortably in mid-table. Performances suggest they’ve got every chance of chasing the teams above them given they’re sitting just three points off third place. Bryan Mbeumo is in fine form, and will no doubt be looking to build on his eight goals in eleven games.

Man City v Tottenham | Saturday 17:30 | Make your prediction here

Is it fair to say Man City are in a crisis? Pep Guardiola has suffered four defeats in-a-row in all competitions for the first time in his career following another defeat at Brighton last time out. However, the international break may have come at the perfect time for the champions to reset and allowed for some injured players to heal ahead of this huge clash with Spurs at the Etihad. This fixture produced a thrilling 3-3 draw last season, and goals are likely to be on the cards again.

Spurs have had an inconsistent start to the season under Ange Postecoglou, sitting in tenth after losing five and winning five since the beginning of the league campaign. For every step forward there seems to be another step back having battered Aston Villa to then lose against Ipswich in their latest fixture. They need to cut out the inconsistency to have any chance of getting some momentum, with a win against City the fuel they’d need to march on.

Southampton v Liverpool | Sunday 14:00 | Make your prediction here

Things went from bad to worse for Southampton in Gameweek 11 as they fell short in the relegation six-pointer away at Wolves. This defeat leaves The Saints rock bottom, four points from safety, and with only one win all season. The lowest scorers in the league welcome the tightest defence in the league, which gives the impression that Russell Martin’s side will be looking to upset the odds and pull off the impossible.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are absolutely flying under the guidance of Arne Slot in his first season in the Premier League. The Reds continue to silence the doubters as they go from strength to strength following a confident victory in the potential banana-skin fixture against Aston Villa. The inevitable Mo Salah scored in their win last time out, and seeing him on the scoresheet again this weekend would be unsurprising as top plays bottom at St. Mary’s.

Ipswich v Man United | Sunday 16:30 | Make your prediction here

Ipswich pulled off one of the surprises of the season so far with their win at Tottenham. Their first victory of the campaign saw them leap out of the relegation places and put an end to their poor form in their first Premier League season since 1995. Kieran McKenna will have been dreaming of days like this ever since he took charge, welcoming his former employers to Portman Road. Can the Tractor Boys pull off another scalp?

The headline news out of Man United is that Ruben Amorim will be in the dugout for the first time since joining the club from Sporting Lisbon. The Portuguese has built quite the reputation over the last couple of seasons, and United supporters will be licking their lips at the prospect of him turning their form around and climbing the table. They currently languish in 13th but a win this weekend could kick-start their season.
