On Tuesday night, Morecambe and Oxford United go head to head at the Mazuma Stadium in a battle of 21st and seventh in the standings.
The Shrimps come into this encounter off the back of a 3-0 home win over Burton Albion, having been hammered 4-1, 5-0 and 3-1 in their previous three outings against Wigan Athletic, Shrewsbury Town and Cheltenham.
Karl Robinson’s men will be keen to bounce back from their narrow 1-0 loss away at Plymouth on the weekend, having previously drawn 1-1 against an in-form Ipswich Town side, as well as beating both Shrewsbury 2-1 and Burton Albion 4-1.
When these two sides last met back in late October, Oxford won the match 3-1 at the Kassam Stadium, as Steve Seddon, Mark Sykes and Matt Taylor all got on the scoresheet.
