Chelsea vs Burnley - Chelsea to win
Liam Rosenior has made a fine start to his Chelsea reign, with the former Strasbourg manager unbeaten in the Premier League since his arrival. Chelsea have won four of their last five league matches with wins over Brentford (2-0), Crystal Palace (1-3), West Ham United (3-2) and Wolves (1-3). Burnley have not beaten Chelsea in their last 12 meetings, and despite the spirited comeback against Crystal Palace, the Clarets are expected to struggle here. Scott Parker’s men suffered an embarrassing 2-1 home defeat to Mansfield Town in the FA Cup, and his side are without a clean sheet in their last 10.
Aston Villa vs Leeds United - Aston Villa to win
Unai Emery's side have made Villa Park a fortress this season, since the home side have the third-best home record in the Premier League, only behind Manchester City and Arsenal. Aston Villa have accumulated 2.15 points per game at Villa Park this season, with a win percentage at Villa Park in the Premier League of 69%. Leeds United have only recorded one away win in the Premier League this season (against Wolves), and since the win in September, Leeds have failed to win any of their fixtures on the road in the league. To provide context, Leeds United have only accumulated 0.62 points per game away from Elland Road this season.
West Ham vs Bournemouth - DRAW/BTTS
West Ham United's form has taken a drastic turn for the better, as the Hammers have a realistic chance of survival in the Premier League this season. Saturday's hosts have avoided defeat in each of their last three home fixtures, including a 1-1 draw with in-form Manchester United in their last league game. West Ham United have picked up 10 points from their last 15 available. Bournemouth are enjoying a good run of form right now, which has seen the Cherries lose just one of their last seven matches across all competitions. Bournemouth have only lost one of their last five on the road, and that defeat arrived on penalties at St James' Park in the FA Cup.
Nottingham Forest vs Liverpool - Liverpool to win
Nottingham Forest have one of the poorest home records in the division, with only three wins from 13 home games and Forest have kept a 23% clean sheet rate at home in the Premier League. Liverpool's recent upturn in form, has seen the Premier League Champions pick up six wins from their last eight matches in all competitions. Arne Slot's side come into this game with two wins in their last three league matches, following their impressive 1-0 win against a Sunderland side who at that point remained unbeaten at home in the Premier League.
Sunderland vs Fulham - Sunderland to win
Sunderland have been at their best in their own backyard this season, where they have picked up seven of their nine league wins, while Fulham have not travelled well, claiming three wins on the road and losing eight times. The Cottagers have been struggling defensively, as the away side have not kept a clean sheet in their last 10 matches. Fulham have also conceded first in six of their last seven matches.
Tottenham vs Arsenal - Arsenal to win
The Gunners claimed a 4-1 win in November's reverse league meeting between the pair, and both teams have scored in four of the last five encounters between the two clubs. Tottenham are without a win in the Premier League since December, losing four and drawing four of their last eight. The Gunners have picked up seven wins from their last 12 league games, and still head into this match as the clear form favourite.
