Manchester United take on managerless Leeds United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night and will be full of confidence going into this one, off the back of 13 home victories in a row following their 2-1 home win over Crystal Palace at the weekend.

In their last two home matches against Leeds, the Red Devils have thrashed the Whites 6-2 and 5-1, while Marcus Rashford has tended to give Luke Ayling a torrid time. So far this season, the 25-year-old has scored 19 goals across all competitions. Leeds also enters this match having won just four of their last 20 matches, with two of these being FA Cup ties against Cardiff City and Accrington Stanley.

As mentioned above, Rashford has been in scintillating form, having bagged 11 times since the World Cup break.

Bruno Fernandes managed to score a penalty in United’s 2-1 win at home to Palace on the weekend prior to Rashford making the score 2-0 against the Eagles. Fernandes has seven goals and seven assists for the Red Devils this campaign, while in his time at United, the Portuguese midfielder has bagged six goals and two assists in four matches against the Whites.

The last time these two met in the FA Cup, the match resulted in a 1-1 draw as Tom Cairney equalised after Jack Clarke had put the Black Cats in front.

In the match at Craven Cottage, Fulham had six corners to Sunderland’s five, while both sides received two yellow cards each, as Layvin Kurzawa and Harry Wilson were booked for the Cottagers, while AJ Alese and Danny Batth were both shown yellow cards for the Black Cats.

Manchester United loanee Amad Diallo will be looking to impress for the Black Cats once again here, having scored seven goals and created two assists so far this campaign, leading to him becoming a fan favourite at the Stadium of Light.

Meanwhile, Aleksandar Mitrovic has been good in front of goal this campaign, as the Serbia international has bagged 11 times in 19 matches for the Cottagers.

On the yellow cards front, Andreas Pereira has been shown yellow cards in 22 Premier League matches this season, while Daniel Ballard has received three yellow cards in ten Championship appearances.
