It's been a tough few months for Jamie Carragher. Not only did he see his beloved Liverpool fall at the final hurdle in the Champions League Final back in May, he also saw his public image tattered following an altercation away from football. The former Reds defender spat in the direction of a motorist after being provoked, unaware that he was being filmed at the time. That made national news and led to Sky Sports suspending him for the duration of the season.
He made his come back for the opening weekend of the 18/19 Premier League and was as insightful as ever, providing some fantastic analysis. But on his way way back home from the Emirates on Sunday evening he stopped off at motorway services and was greeted by some Manchester City supporters who weren't afraid to hold back their feelings towards him!
