We've seen some crazy characters in football over the yeas and one that instantly comes to mind is former Portugal midfield man, Raul Meireles. Now at the age of 35, he enjoyed a fantastic playing career which saw him pick up 16 major honours playing for European heavyweights such as Chelsea, Liverpool, FC Porto and Fenerbahce over a 15 year period. He also went on to represent Portugal 73 times, scoring 10 goals but now in retirement he's taken up something slightly different to football.
Meireles recently featured on Portuguese national television, being the lead star on popular show Lip Sync. The 35 year-old was up on stage in a very questionable outfit strutting his stuff to an annoyingly catchy tune and to be fair, he nailed it. His moves went down a hit with his fellow co-stars and the live studio audience, who applauded him whilst he did his thing. We've always known that he's been something of a character in football (as his array of tattoos prove) and this backs it up further, it's safe to say that he's enjoying his retirement!
