Who Will Manchester United Sign in the Transfer Window?

Latest News

Jadon Sancho to United odds

Jadon Sancho's career has gone from strength to strength and the winger is now one of the world's very best in his position.

The 20-year-old is arguably the one that began the trend of young English players finding their potential by going abroad and 17-year-old Jude Bellingham is now the latest to do that having signed for BVB in July.

Sancho has been arguably the best Dortmund player over the past two years and only Robert Lewandowski has been involved in more goals in Germany this season than the Englishman.

One possibility for the youngster is a return to the city of Manchester, but it appears the former Manchester City youth star could join the red side as the biggest transfer fiasco of the past year continues.

Sancho is reported to cost around £80m, but there is no doubt Dortmund can and will sqeeuze every penny out of United in this one. Indeed, what might add value to the transfer fee for United is that the London-born would be a homegrown player and how United are so desperate for young, British talent.

The Dortmund winger has odds of 8/15 on signing for United this summer, making him the favourite to be a marquee signing for the club.

Harry Kane United odds

Harry Kane is perhaps the best striker in England and all-time Premier League top scorer Alan Shearer's record of 260 Premier League goals could soon be under serious threat.

Should Kane make the move to Old Trafford, there will surely be question marks over the futures of Marcus Rashford, Anthony Martial and Mason Greenwood. Rashford and Martial can also naturally play on either wing but the potential signing of Kane would most likely hinder Greenwood's development if he was to stay at United.

A new striker might not be the biggest of necessities for Solskjaer, as United's front three has outscored every other in the Premier League, bar City's. However, it would be completely nonsensical to say Kane wouldn't substantially improve United's chances of bidding for a title once more, and for this reason, should be a transfer Solskajer seriously considers.

Kane now has odds currently standing at 6/4 on him leaving Tottenham Hotspur to the ranks at Old Trafford.

Lewandowski to United odds

Lewandowski has had a magical campaign in the Bundesliga by breaking records consistently and scoring goals for fun.

This season, the Pole has managed to bag his eighth Bundesliga title and found the net 34 times from 31 appearances in the German top-flight. At the same time, Lewandowski head into the Champions League with a serious potential at bagging a Treble for Bayern Munich and snatching the top scorer award in the competition - he currently has 11 goals in Europe so far.

In truth, the 31-year-old looks very settled in Germany and if he was to make a move to United, he would have to do it at some point in the near future. However, Lewandowski now has odds of 4/1 for him to swap Munich for Manchester this summer.

No doubt it would be the ultimate signing for the club, but it is one that looks very much within a dream rather than a reality.

Jimenez to United odds

Much of the success Wolverhampton Wanderers have had since their promotion to the Premier League has been down the goalscoring prowess of Raul Jimenez.

It is rumoured that United could be willing to sell in order to make room for the Mexican international, who has attracted interest from several top clubs around England and Europe.

The competition for Jimenez's signature will be fiercely tough and this could be one of the factors that Wolves could take advantage of and place a very high asking price on their main striker.

Jimenez also has three years remaining on his current deal at Molineux so Wolves could potentially make a huge profit on the player they bought for only £30m.

After netting his 20th goal of the season in a memorable campaign, the striker is now priced at 9/2 to join United.

Ake to United odds

Nathan Ake will no doubt have one eye on the exit door following Bournemouth's relegation back to the Championship for the first time in five years.

The Dutch international has missed only eight league games for the Cherries this season due to injury and his side have lost six of those eight matches, which shows how important he has become for them.

Since the signing of Harry Maguire last year, Solskjaer has found it an occasional struggle to find a suitable partner for him. Victor Lindelof has been inconsistent and Eric Bailly has been injury prone since his arrival in 2016.

Ake could make a very good partner for Maguire, with the two players boasting different strengths and it is often factors like that what make up a quality partnership.

Still just 25, the former Chelsea man would no doubt be tempted to join the Red Devils from Bournemouth if the offer comes in, and he is now priced at 5/1 to do so.
