Bosnia-Herzegovina vs Qatar

Bosnia-Herzegovina to win

Bosnia & Herzegovina opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Canada, but their second game has put their qualification chances in jeopardy, as they succumbed to a 4-1 defeat to Switzerland. Bosnia & Herzegovina were a match for Switzerland until the red card, which started the capitulation and with Qatar’s defensive problems, Bosnia are likely to get the win here.

Switzerland vs Canada

Switzerland to win

Switzerland are unbeaten in their previous five matches following their victory against Bosnia, in which the latter were reduced to ten men. Jesse Marsch’s side considerably improved against a poor Qatar side, with a 6-0 rout for the host nation. However, context is key as Qatar were reduced to nine men, meaning a win was a formality for the Canadians. Both teams have scored in seven of the last eight matches involving Switzerland.

Scotland vs Brazil

Brazil & Over 2.5 Goals

Brazil have picked up four points from their opening two group games and will be the much-fancied favourites to win their final match of the group stage against Scotland. Steve Clarke's side got off to a winning start, but a narrow defeat to Morocco followed, and now Scotland's best chance of qualifying for the knockout round appears to be as one of the best third-placed teams. Over 2.5 goals have been produced in six of Scotland's last 10 matches, while six of Brazil's last eight games have also witnessed at least three goals.

Morocco vs Haiti

Morocco to win

Morocco’s place in the round of 32 is essentially confirmed, with the AFCON finalists having picked up four points from their opening two fixtures. Morocco were more than a match for Brazil in their opening group game and then subsequently dealt with the physical threat from Scotland.

Czechia vs Mexico

Mexico to win

Czechia have taken the lead in both of their group games so far, but has failed to win, losing to South Korea (2-1) and, more remarkably, drawing 1-1 against a South Africa side who have shown little quality so far. As for Mexico, they are in excellent form heading into this game, having already secured their place in the round of 32 with two wins from two. Mexico have won their previous five international games and remains unbeaten in their previous 10.

South Africa vs Korea Republic

Korea Republic to win

South Korea were excellent in their opening game against Czechia, winning 2-1. South Korea had 15 shots on goal in their opening fixture, recording an xG of 2.3. They were beaten narrowly by Mexico, but had the larger share of the ball, with 58% possession. Should South Korea replicate their opening-game effort against Czechia, they should overcome South Africa to rubber-stamp their place in the next round.
