Week 3 of our FA Poker WPT Super League tournament has now come to an end and it’s time to look back at how it all went down. It was one of our most exciting ones to date with the latest competition that took place last Thursday having some incredible prizes available for everyone. Over the whole week we had 1,391 entries join us on the tables and play for some of the best prize pots we’ve seen in recent weeks.
It all kicked off on Sunday 2nd August marking the start of week three. On the night 403 entries sat down with us on the tables and played for a prizepool of £2,015. Come the end of the night ‘Steyarsley01’ had bested the rest of the players to take home a cool £258.50 on top of the other bounties he’s amassed on the night. We also had two players both make it to the final table again on this night both banking a bonus 88 points for the monthly leaderboard.
As usual the next game took place on Tuesday 4th and featured a prizepot of £1,695 that had been accumulated by the 339 entries that signed up to play in the lead up to the night. By the time it was all over ‘Woody1864’ topped the pile and went home with a prize of £223.61, he has previously knocked out FA as well as Jamie O’Hara so it’s good to see them finally get a win!
Thursday night was out biggest tournament this week. It was prize night here and we were giving away masses of tickets to the WPT tournaments coming up this weekend. For this extra special night we had 649 entries giving us a prizepool of £3,245 to play for on the night as well as an array of other prizes.

By the end of Thursday night ‘Ggordon18’ was crowned victorious taking home £443.63 as well as a $1,050, a $320 and a $33 WPT ticket for this weekend. In addition to the overall winner all players that made it to the final table also got a $320 and a $33 WPT ticket. We also gave away 88 x $33 WPT tickets to all players who walked away from the tables with cash.
In addition to this we also gave all players that sent a screen grab of them entered into the competition 2 x $3.30 tickets. 10 of these players got a $33 ticket and 1 got a $320 ticket in our random draw which has been announced on our twitter page. We also had guest player Jamie O’Hara playing on the night and a $320 WPT ticket was on his head for everyone that knocked him out, MrManhica, Juice.Esq and BEN198566 bagged themselves a $320 ticket each, congratulations!
