Birmingham vs. Rotherham Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Birmingham vs. Rotherham prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.

Birmingham City are searching for a much-needed with as they welcome Rotherham United to St Andrew's in the Championship this weekend.

Birmingham City currently sit 19th in the Championship with ten wins, nine draws and sixteen losses from thirty-five games this season.

The Blues have had a tough but successful campaign in the Championship this season having been expected by most punters to be the first side relegated to League One. They do, however, find themselves in a good position to secure survival despite being on a terrible run of form.

They enter this game having drawn one and lost four of their last five matches, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw with bottom of the league Wigan Athletic.

At home their form is slightly better having won one and lost four of their last five matches on home soil, but it's still by no means anything to shout about.

Birmingham desperately need a win as they sit seven points above the relegation zone. Another two victories may be enough to secure survival but on current form it's tough to see where they'll come from.

Rotherham United currently sit 18th in the Championship with nine wins, thirteen draws and thirteen losses from thirty-five games this season.

Similar to their opponents, Rotherham's season has been a tough one following promotion from League One last time out but their campaign has been an undoubted success as they look on course to secure survival.

They enter this game amidst a good run of form having won two and drawn one of their last three matches, the most recent of which was a 3-1 win over Queens Park Rangers.

That win means they're now eight points clear of the relegation zone and one more win or two should be enough to seal survival for another year.

Their away form hasn't been great, though, as they enter this game having drawn three and lost two of their last five matches on the road.

Rotherham beat Birmingham 2-0 when the two sides met back in August but this game could be slightly more difficult in the absence of home advantage. Expect a tight game with the two teams possible cancelling one another out.
