Stoke vs. Millwall Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Stoke vs. Millwall prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.

Millwall continue their push for a top six finish as they travel up north to face Stoke City in the Championship this weekend.

Stoke City currently sit 17th in the Championship with eleven wins, seven draws and fifteen losses from thirty-three games this season.

The Potters have had a fairly torrid campaign up until this point and were looking like serious relegation candidates a couple of weeks ago before a couple of wins have placed a cushion between themselves and the bottom three.

They enter this game having won two, drawn one and lost two of their last five matches in the league, the most recent of which was an impressive 3-1 win away at Swansea City.

The win in Wales made it two wins in their last three matches and was an impressive performance that provided a much-needed victory away from home.

Their home form is fairly encouraging coming into this game having taken seven points from their last three games on home soil while scoring seven goals across those three matches.

Stoke should cruise to a mid-table finish from hereon out after providing their fans with a relegation scare but their season as a whole will likely be a forgettable one when all is said and done. They face a tricky test against a side gunning for the play-offs here but their solid home form could see them to three points.

Millwall currently sit 5th in the Championship with fourteen wins, eight draws and ten losses from thirty-two games this season.

The Lions have had an excellent campaign as they find themselves well within a shout of a top six finish, something that few expected coming into this season.

They enter this game in solid form having won two, drawn two and lost one of their last five matches in the league, the most recent of which was a 1-1 draw at home to league leaders Burnley.

The point against Burnley meant they've now taken four points from the league's top two sides in their last two matches having beaten Sheffield United 3-2 last weekend, a pair of results that most definitely enhances their reputation as a play-off contender.

Their away form has also been fairly impressive recently with Gary Rowett's men winning three and losing two of their last five league matches on the road.

Millwall beat Stoke 2-0 when the two sides met in the league back in July but without home advantage this one will be much tougher. Unfortunately for them, Millwall may well be facing Stoke at the wrong time with The Potters looking impressive in recent weeks, and while they should avoid defeat three points will be hard to come by.
