      Liverpool vs Norwich City Preview, Tips & Stats

      Norwich make the trip to Anfield this Sunday to take on Liverpool in the Fourth Round of the FA Cup. Liverpool are flying high in the Premier League and Norwich are in the conversation for the Play-offs in the Championship, making this a big Cup run good for momentum.

      Liverpool currently sit top of the Premier League after 21 games. The Reds have 14 wins, six draws and just one loss, leaving them on 48 points, five points above Manchester City, Arsenal and Aston Villa.

      In their last five games in all competitions, Liverpool have four wins and a draw.

      Mohamed Salah opened the scoring just minutes into the second half, but Alexander Isak equalised just five minutes later for Newcastle. A goal from Curtis Jones and a goal from Cody Gakpo gave Liverpool the 3 - 1 lead. Sven Botman brought Newcastle back into it but a late penalty from Salah gave Liverpool the 4 - 2 win.       In the first leg of the League Cup Semi-final, Liverpool hosted Fulham. A brace from Darwin Nunez and a brace from Diogo Jota gave Liverpool the 4 - 0 win.

      The last time out for Liverpool was the second leg of the League Cup against Fulham. Diaz opened the scoring for Liverpool but Issa Diop equalised for Fulham in the second half. The game ended in a 1 - 1 draw, but Liverpool progressed to the Final.

      In the replay of the Third Round clash with Bristol Rovers, Luke McCormick opened the scoring for Rovers. However, Gabriel Sara, Adam Idah and Kenny McLean all scored to give Norwich the 3 - 1 win. Josh Sargent and Rowe both scored in the 2 - 0 win over West Brom.

      The most recent outing for Norwich was against Leeds on Wednesday. Patrick Bamford scored the only goal for Leeds in the 16th minute to give Leeds the 1 - 0 win.
