A place in the Championship is on the line this Sunday, and it's two North West clubs that sit 16 miles apart that will contest the League One play-off final.
Much like both teams' play-off semi-finals, we're predicting a tight and tense clash on Sunday. Bolton ran out 1-0 winners home and away against Bradford City to secure their place in the final, while Stockport also kept two clean sheets as they ran out 3-0 aggregate winners against Stevenage.
When these two sides met in Stockport back in August, the home side claimed a 2-0 victory, while the reverse league meeting just last month ended in a 2-2 draw. Stockport have a great record against Bolton, winning four and drawing two of the pair's previous six encounters, perhaps giving them a slight edge in the play-off final.
Stockport are the form favourite with four wins and one loss from their last five matches, with Bolton winning two, drawing two and losing one of their last five.
Under 2.5 goals have been produced in three of Bolton's last five matches, while three of Stockport's last six outings have also witnessed fewer than three goals.
This game is going to be hard to call, but we have gone with a narrow 1-0 win for Stockport
Bolton 0-1 Stockport
