For our Bolton vs. Cheltenham prediction, we're going for a 2-0 win for the home side.
Bolton Wanderers continue their promotion charge as they host Cheltenham Town in League One this weekend.
Bolton Wanderers currently sit 5th in League One with fourteen wins, eight draws and seven losses from twenty-nine games this season.
The Trotters had an inconsistent start to the season but have found their groove in recent weeks and now look primed to continue their assault on the top six and secure their spot in the play-offs from here until May.
They enter this game in outstanding form having won four of their last five matches in all competitions, the most recent of which was a big 2-1 win away at Charlton Athletic.
Their home record has been excellent of late, too, having won their last three on the bounce on home soil having also gone unbeaten in their last nine games on home soil in all competitions.
The Trotters seem to be going from strength to strength this season and now look in poll position to secure a play-off spot if they can maintain this form. There'll be a lot of competition if they make it, mind, but their form has been exemplary of late. A home game against Cheltenham Town is one they must win.
Cheltenham Town are currently 18th in League One with eight wins, five draws and fourteen losses from twenty-seven games this season.
The Robins have been up and down in terms of form this season but a tough period over the last few weeks has seen them slide into a precarious position in the table.
They enter this game having drawn one and lost four of their last five matches in League One, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw with Port Vale.
Away from home they've been marginally better having won one and lost four of their last five league games on the road, but their form either way does not bode well here.
Cheltenham did beat Bolton 1-0 when the two sides met in the league back in October, but unfortunately for them they're likely to encounter a very different game here.
This is one of the tougher fixtures in the League One calendar at the moment and even a point seems highly unlikely for The Robins. Expect them to fall to a fifth defeat in six league matches here.
