The Gills bounced back against Sutton United. After the early red card to Sutton’s Harry Smith, Scott Malone grabbed the only goal of the game in the second half to grab a 1 - 0 win for Gillingham. Next time out, Gillingham picked up another 1 - 0 win. Malone was the goal scorer yet again, this time ten minutes into the second half, to give Gillingham all three points, despite having less of the possession.
