For our Wimbledon vs. Crawley prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
Crawley Town continue their quest to climb out of the League Two relegation zone as they face AFC Wimbledon this weekend.
AFC Wimbledon currently sit 16th in league Two with ten wins, thirteen draws and thirteen losses from thirty-five games this season.
After starting the campaign abysmally, Wimbledon have had a pretty successful season after working themselves into a position whereby safety is almost guaranteed, even if their form has fallen off a cliff.
They enter this game amidst a dismal run of form having failed to win any of their last nine matches while losing four of their last five.
Most recently, Wimbledon scored a point away from home in a 1-1 draw with Newport County.
Their form at home is slightly more encouraging having won one, drawn two and lost two of their last five on home soil, but having failed to win any of their last four there's still concern there.
Wimbledon should be safe this season given they're thirteen points clear of the drop zone but a couple of wins would make things much more comfortable heading into the season's conclusion.
Crawley Town currently sit 23rd in League Two with seven wins, eight draws and nineteen losses from thirty-four games this season.
Crawley's campaign has been nothing short of a disaster. With significant squad investment in the summer most expected them to be a significant promotion contender, but practically from the word go they've struggled mightily and now find themselves fighting for their lives to avoid relegation.
They enter this game amidst a poor run of form overall having won one and lost four of their last five matches, but having won their most recent game they'll hope they've turned a corner in that regard.
Crawley's most recent game saw them secure a huge 3-1 win over Harrogate Town.
Crawley's away form is fairly abysmal heading into this game having lost their last five consecutive games on the road while sporting just one goal in that period.
Crawley were beaten by AFC Wimbledon 3-2 in a thriller when the two sides last met in the league so they'll be determined to get one back here. Their shoddy away form doesn't make it likely but stranger things have happened.
