For our Mansfield vs. Crawley prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.
Mansfield Town continue their League Two play-off push this weekend as they face Crawley Town.
Mansfield Tow currently sit 8th in League Two with sixteen wins, ten draws and eleven losses from thirty-seven games this season.
It's been a fairly decent campaign for The Stags on the whole this time around as they find themselves well positioned to make an aggressive assault on the top seven places in the remaining games.
They do enter this game amidst a slight blip in form, however, having failed to win any of their last four matches, the most recent of which was a 0-0 draw against Sutton United.
The draw with Sutton confirmed a second straight 0-0 for Mansfield and a third draw one the bounce, so they're in need of a win here to break a frustrating sequence of results.
Their form at home has also been fairly concerning having failed to win any of their last three on home soil, so their play-off charge is at risk of derailing if their poor form continues.
They're only three points shy of the play-off spots so a play-off berth is well within reach, but they need to improve their form drastically as they're currently on a concerning trajectory.
Crawley Town currently sit 22nd in League Two with nine wins, ten draws and nineteen losses from thirty-eight games this season.
It's been a dismal campaign for Crawley whose fans are no doubt willing it to end at this point, with their side desperately trying to secure survival with just eight games remaining.
Things are looking good in that regard in fairness, as Crawley enter this game in decent form having won three and drawn two of their last five matches.
Their most recent encounter saw them claim a point in a 1-1 draw at home to Grimsby Town courtesy of a Dominic Telford penalty in the 87th minute.
Their form is a slight concern heading into this game having lost four of their last five games on the road, however considering they won their most recent away game that could signify they've turned a corner in that regard.
Crawley can take confidence from the fact they beat Mansfield 3-2 back in October, and despite their poor away form they're in much better shape than their opponents coming into this game.
Crawley are five points clear of the drop zone and are gradually pulling away. Another win would do them wonders and they'll feel confident of getting it here.
