Fulham vs. Arsenal Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Fulham vs. Arsenal prediction, we're going for a 2-1 win for the away side.

Arsenal continue their Premier league title challenge as they make the trip to West London to face Fulham on Sunday.

Fulham currently sit 7th in the Premier League with eleven wins, six draws and nine losses from twenty-six games this season.

The Cottagers have had a fine campaign back in the Premier League and are well within a shout of claiming a European spot coming into the final months of the season.

They enter this game amidst a good run of form on the whole having won three, drawn one and lost one of their last five matches in all competitions.

Most recently, Fulham were deservedly beaten by Brentford in a 3-2 loss away from home.

Their form at home has been solid of late, with Marco Silva's side having won two and drawn two of their last four matches at Craven Cottage.

Fulham's season has been one of the league's major success stories with most punters overwhelmingly backing them for an immediate relegation back to the Championship. They're without key man Joao Palinha through suspension for this game so they're considerably hamstrung, but there's enough firepower in this Fulham squad to give any side issues on their day. Expect Fulham to make this one competitive at the very least.

Arsenal currently sit top of the Premier League table with twenty wins, three draws and three losses from twenty-six games this season.

The Gunners have been on fire this season and are edging ever closer to a first Premier League title since 2004.

In their most recent league match Arsenal produced one of their most euphoric moments of the season as substitute Reiss Nelson provided a 97th minute winner to complete a second half comeback from 2-0, sealing a 3-2 win.

In midweek a strong Arsenal XI drew 2-2 with Sporting CP in the Europa League. While the performance was by no means their best, their momentum will remain protected after securing a broadly positive result.

The draw in Lisbon means Mikel Arteta's side have now won four and drawn one of their last five matches in all competitions.

Their away form has been fairly solid of late, too, having won two and draw one of their last three games on the road.

Arsenal are remaining consistent enough in terms of results but it cannot be denied that their performances have started to tail off somewhat. It's only natural, but Arsenal are not playing with the kind of free-flowing vigour they were in the first half of the campaign, with results tending to come off the back of hard-fought battles.

Regardless, they're still the rightful favourites for this game and they're boosted by the absence of Fulham's best midfielder, but expect this to be a competitive game and one that Arsenal could drop points in should they fail to perform to near their best level.
