Leeds United hope to take a huge step towards Premier League safety as they take on Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League this weekend.
The Whites come into this game on the back of arguably their biggest result of the season. Away at rivals Manchester United on Monday night, Leeds produced a dominant performance to claim a vital 2-1 win, taking them six points clear of Tottenham in 18th. Manager Daniel Farke will be under no illusions that the job is done, but his team are now in the driving seat to secure safety.
Their overall form is good, with three wins and two draws from their last five games. Leeds are particularly tough to topple at Elland Road too, where they've lost just three of their last 11 games, two of which were at the hands of Manchester City and Arsenal.
Five of Leeds' last six games in the league have seen under 2.5 goals scored, and given what's at stake here this could be another low scoring encounter.
Wolves, meanwhile, remain bottom of the league table with just 17 points. Wolves' relegation is yet to be confirmed, but it won't be long now until their demotion is official.
After somewhat of a resurgence under Rob Edwards, their form has dipped once again as they come into this game winless in their last three. The Midlands club were battered 4-0 at the hands of West Ham at the weekend, a sorry result and performance that followed a 2-2 draw with Brentford and a 1-3 loss to Liverpool.
Their away record is particularly poor too, with Edwards' side failing to win a single away game in the league all season. Their only win on the road in any competition was away at Grimsby Town in the FA Cup.
Four of Wolves' last six league games have seen under 2.5 goals scored, highlighting their propensity for involvement in low scoring affairs.
Leeds 1-0 Wolves
