Nottingham Forest vs. Everton Prediction, Tips & Stats

For our Nottingham Forest vs. Everton prediction, we're going for a 1-1 draw.

We have a gigantic encounter at the bottom of the Premier League this weekend as Everton travel to the City Ground to face Nottingham Forest.

Nottingham Forest currently sit 13th in the Premier League with six wins, seven draws and eleven losses from twenty-four games this season.

Forest have had a largely successful season upon their return to England's top flight as they find themselves clear of the relegation zone with with just twelve games remaining, despite suffering a number of damning losses this season.

They enter this game amidst a fairly poor run of form overall having won one, drawn one and lost three of their last five matches in the league, the most recent of which was a worrying 4-0 defeat away at West Ham United.

Forest's away form has been pretty abysmal this season and is certainly the root of their struggles, but their home form is much more encouraging with Steve Cooper's side winning three and drawing two of their last five league matches at the City Ground having conceded just three goals in that period.

Forest are a totally different side when on their own turf and if they are to stay up this season their resolve on their home patch will likely be the reason why. They do, then, unequivocally have to beat a fellow relegation rival in Everton this weekend.

Everton currently sit 18th in the Premier League with five wins, six draws and fourteen losses from twenty-five games this season.

The Toffees have had a dismal campaign so far having struggled from the first weekend onwards, and it was hoped that the appointment of Sean Dyche would be their ticket to Premier League survival but five games into his tenure at the club and things are still looking highly uncertain.

After beating Arsenal in Dyche's opening game, Everton have gone on to lose three of their proceeding four games as they enter this encounter off the back of defeats against Aston Villa, 0-2, and Arsenal, 4-0.

While heavy, the Arsenal defeat was expected but it's resounding nature was compounded by the defeat to Villa last weekend, a result that will have stung considering the difficulty of The Toffees remaining fixtures.

Everton need to be taking points from home games against sides not in in the top six of the league if they want to ensure survival and a comfortable loss against an out of form Villa side was not on the menu for Everton fans.

These two sides drew 1-1 when they met in the league back in August and most people will expect a similarly tight game here. Whoever losses is in big trouble but a draw does neither much good either. May the best team win, then.
