Rangers Specials: Domestic Double and treble odds

Perhaps the only disappointment from a stellar 2020/21 campaign for Rangers were their struggles throughout the domestic cup competitions.

They were knocked out at the quarter-finals stage in both tournaments, firstly by St Mirren in the Scottish Cup and then by eventual winners, St Johnstone, in the League Cup. These woes added a sour taste to an otherwise impeccable league season, but nevertheless, the aim for the Gers was always to retain the league first and foremost, and now is the time where they can set their sites on finally taking over all of Scotland again.

Outright favourites in all three domestic competitions this season, a League and League Cup double is priced at 13/8 for the Gers, whilst a League and Scottish Cup double is a slightly lengthier 15/8.

Rangers last managed the treble all the way back in 2002/03 and the Scottish champions are fancied to replicate that achievement this year. Priced at a healthy 5/1 to secure the clean sweep, you wouldn’t bet against the Glasgow club pulling it off based off current form.

Rangers Specials: to win the SPFL & Morelos Top Scorer

Netting 12 times throughout the 2020/21 campaign, Alfredo Morelos was one of four Rangers players to reach double figures for goals last season in what was technically his worst goalscoring season with the club. Scoring over 10 goals during each of his four seasons in Scotland so far, the Colombian is crucial to Gerrard’s side and already has Golden Boot-winning pedigree.

Morelos also topped the scoring charts in the 2018/19 campaign, and he will once again be eyeing up a goal-laden season. The striker is likely to be amongst the goals regardless of how Rangers fare in the league this season, and Morelos is 13/2 to finish the campaign with both the Golden Boot and a SPFL winners medal.

Rangers Specials: Rangers to go unbeaten odds

A convincing 4-0 victory over Aberdeen on the final day of the 2020/21 season was enough to confirm an unbeaten campaign for Rangers for the first time in over 100 years and Gerrard’s men are chasing history once more.

No Scottish side since Celtic in 1899 has gone two league seasons without defeat, with Rangers poised to become the first in 122 years to manage the feat, and considering this was the era when they last went unbeaten, history is on their side.

An unlikely but not impossible task, Rangers are 11/1 to go unbeaten once again this season and make it two straight seasons in a row when they didn't lose in the SPFL.

Rangers Specials: To Beat Celtic in every SPFL game

Winning all but one of their four league meetings with fierce rivals Celtic, Rangers’ performances against their Old Firm rivals last season well and truly earned them the bragging rights. Rangers did manage to go unbeaten against Celtic throughout the 2020/21 campaign, even securing a comfortable 2-0 victory over the Bhoys in the Scottish Cup fourth round, however, a 1-1 draw at Celtic Park in March denied them a 100% record from five games.

Having carried their struggling form over to the 2021/22 campaign, Celtic could be there for the taking, with the pair’s first meeting coming at the end of August.

Rangers are now priced at 20/1 to beat their eternal enemies in every league fixture this year.
