This weekend sees Stoke City take on Leicester City in an all-midlands clash at the Britannia Stadium.

On the other hand, the visitors Leicester are replicating the impressive form which saw them compete for a place in the Champions League last season, as they are third in the Premier League, just two points behind Liverpool at the top of the table.

The Foxes are the fourth top scorers in the division with 31 goals in 17 matches and have scored three or more goals on seven different occasions this season, most recently against Brighton & Hove Albion in early December.

Blackburn Rovers take on Doncaster Rovers at Ewood Park in the third round of the FA Cup, which sees the top scorers in the Championship take on League One’s most deadly attack.

Doncaster’s goals tend to be a bit more spread out across their team, with thirteen different goal scorers, of which they have six players with three goals or more this season in their squad. Ben Whiteman leads the way for the Yorkshire side with eight goals and six assists from 20 games which is a very impressive record for a central midfielder.

FA Cup holders Arsenal take on Newcastle United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday, in what is one of three all-Premier League ties this weekend.

Newcastle’s last three defeats have all came in the score range of 1-0, 2-0 or 2-1 as they tend to play a very defensive style of football, whilst four of Arsenal’s seven Premier League wins have all been in the same range.
