Saturday sees action resume in Group F, as Hungary face the impossible against France on matchday two.

Portugal take on Germany on Saturday in Group F’s other clash. As mentioned above, the Portuguese come into this game off the back of a late show against Hungary, whilst Germany are in a desperate situation where they must at minimum avoid defeat as they’ll likely qualify as one of the best third-placed teams if they beat Hungary, although a win would likely see them qualify ahead of their opponents.

The final game of the day on Saturday sees an under-fire Spain side take on Poland who are also in a desperate position themselves.

Spain laboured to a 0-0 draw against Sweden on matchday one, despite having 85% possession, whilst Poland lost 2-1 at the hands of Slovakia following an own goal by Wojciech Szczęsny and a powerful strike from Milan Skriniar, this match also saw former West Bromwich Albion midfielder Grzegorz Krychowiak be dismissed in the second-half for two yellow cards.
