Tottenham fans are well and truly sick of Wembley Stadium by now and, unfortunately for them, they’ve still got a little while longer with it as their temporary home ground.
The club have today confirmed that there are further delays to the building of their new stadium, with their Premier League matches against Watford (30 January), Newcastle United (2 February) and Leicester City (10 February) all set to take place at Wembley.
Furthermore, Spurs will face Borussia Dortmund at the national stadium in their home leg in the last 16 of the Champions League and should they progress to the fifth round of the FA Cup and receive a home tie, they would again play at Wembley.
Initial plans had seen the club plan to move into their new home ground by the start of this season, yet they will still be playing at Wembley throughout February. The club are selling all three Premier League games for the price of one.
It’s fair to say the announcement hasn’t gone down well with Tottenham fans, who have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations. Check out the best reactions to the latest setback with the stadium below.
