Two relegation fighters go head-to-head with each other in Ligue 1 tonight, with the home side coming into this fixture in 19th place on 21 points, whilst Lorient are in 18th, just two points better off.
Nimes and Lorient have the worst defences in Ligue 1, having conceded 51 and 49 goals, which as a result has seen each side be involved in games with over 2.5 goals in three of their last five outings in the league.
Nimes did this three times in a row at the start of February in losses to the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Monaco and Nice, whilst Lorient drew 2-2 with Monaco on 14th February, before suffering a 4-1 hammering at the hands of league leaders Lille on Sunday.
The last time these two sides met was in mid-December where Lorient won the game 3-0 at Stade du Moustoir thanks to goals from Quentin Boisgard, Pierre-Yves Hamel and Yoane Wissa.
