Jordan Ayew returned a respectable five Premier League goals last season, with only the departed Jamie Vardy returning more, and is expected to be the starting number nine for the Foxes. Ayew has looked strong in preseason too, returning two goals in four games.
Abdul Fatawu To Score:
Ghanaian Winger Abdul Fatawu was key to Leicester's promotion push two seasons ago, recording six goals and 13 assists in the Championship in 2023-24. Fatawu missed last season with injury, but he's looked strong in pre-season, scoring a fine goal amidst a very good performance in a 2-0 win over Fiorentina last weekend.
Yan Valery To Be Carded:
With seven bookings, Yan Valery was one of Sheffield Wednesday's most carded players last season. Additionally, the right-back committed 47 fouls last season, the third most of any Wednesday player.
Liam Palmer To Be Carded:
Liam Palmer has received an average of 0.3 cards per 90 minutes completed since the start of the 2023-24 season, more than any other Sheffield Wednesday player. The midfielder has also committed 45 fouls in that period.
Stephy Mavididi To Have 1+ Shots On Target:
In Leicester's last season in the Championship (2023-24), Stephy Mavididi recorded 34 shots on target in 40 full 90 minutes averaged. He also provided a decent return of four goals for a struggling Leicester in the Premier League last season.
