ITV Racing Tips – Sunday 17th May 2026 Best Bets for Hamilton & Naas

The ITV Racing roadshow rolls on to Hamilton for the Sunday Series this weekend. A bumper eleven-race programme is set for Sunday, 17th May, which includes action from Naas.

We have gone through all televised races on Sunday, picking out ITV horse racing tips, and an accumulator for ITV racing.

15:45 - Hamilton - Thai Ginger

A bumper Sunday of ITV coverage kicks off with the EBF Novice Stakes. It could be worth forgiving Thai Ginger after being a well-backed favorite before finishing fifth on debut at Ripon.

The colt by No Nay Never likely needed that run, and if as good as connections and the market believed last time, he should go close in this company with that experience under his belt.

15:56 - Naas - Expanded

Racing from Ireland is also covered on Sunday, beginning with the Listed Owenstown Stud Stakes, run over seven furlongs. Expanded should be open to improvement on his second start this season for the Aidan O’Brien team.

The colt wasn’t beaten far by The Lion In Winter over a mile on his return, and the drop back to seven furlongs should suit, winning over the trip at the start of last season. The choice of Ryan Moore.

16:15 - Hamilton - Go Vince Go

Next up is a handicap over six furlongs, and Tim Easterby-trained Go Vince Go should be capable of going close after a pair of respectable efforts already this season.

Was a winner over course and distance last year, and Jason Hart is booked to take the ride. Should be a decent chance on these terms.

16:26 - Naas - Dancing Destiny

The next race from Naas is the Group Three Fillies Sprint Stakes. Dancing Destiny could be an interesting chance to go close after winning impressively over an extended seven furlongs at the start of the week.

The Joseph O’Brien yard is in red-hot from, and this drop back in trip should be a positive as a daughter of Magna Grecia.

16:45 - Hamilton - Ghaiyya

A marathon mile and five furlongs will be covered by the field in the next race from Hamilton. Ghaiyya could be an interesting contender at the prices for Charlie Johnston.

The four-year-old filly has a solid record on turf, winning four from nine career starts. Looked as though this step up in trip would suit after powering to a three-length win over Sea Of Kings at Doncaster on return at the end of last month.

16:56 - Naas - Charles Darwin

ITV’s penultimate race from Naas is the Group Three Lacken Stakes. Charles Darwin made an impressive return to action when beating Silk Braid by over a length at Navan.

The Aidan O’Brien runner was a leading sprinter last season, including wins in back-to-back stakes races. His standout success came when landing the Group Two Norfolk Stakes. Should dominate this field.

17:15 - Hamilton - Jordan Electrics

A handicap over five furlongs is next up from Hamilton, and Jordan Electrics should be primed for a big effort now dropping back in trip.

The ten-year-old has been running to form this season, including when a close second at Newmarket last month. These conditions should suit, as the selection is a four-time winner over course and distance.

17:26 - Naas - Mission Central

The final race from Naas is the Listed Power Sprint Stakes. Ryan Moore will be aboard Mission Central, who was excellent over course and distance on return when landing the Listed Woodlands Stakes.

Has a dominant record on the turf, winning four from six starts, and he lost little in defeat at the end of last season when finishing tenth in the Group One Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint.

17:45 - Hamilton - Seren Star

A fillies handicap over a mile and a furlong is due off at 17:45. William Haggas has been in dominant form, and the trainer once again joins forces with Tom Marquand with Seren Star.

The filly is clear on official ratings, and has won three from seven starts under rules. Was a winner over course and distance last season, and progressed with a straightforward win at Nottingham to end last term. If returning in the same form, she will be hard to beat.

18:15 - Hamilton - Jonny Concrete

The penultimate race from Hamilton is a handicap over six furlongs. Jonny Concrete was an eye-catcher on his return to action at the start of the month when beaten just over a length when third at Chester.

With that run under his belt, he could make his presence felt on Sunday. The selection is a four-time winner on the turf, and he holds course and distance experience after being narrowly touched off by Creulean Bay on debut at Hamilton.

18:45 - Hamilton - Letsbefrank

Previous course and distance winner, Letsbefrank, could be a decent chance to end the day with a winner for Jim Goldie.

The six-year-old made a winning return to action when scoring at Musselburgh. Lauren Young retains the ride. The gelding has typically performed well at Hamilton, including finishing a close fifth over a mile and four at the end of last season.
