The final day of the three-day Guineas meeting at Newmarket is covered on ITV on Sunday, 3rd May. It will be the turn of the fillies on Sunday, with the 1000 Guineas headlining the coverage.

Sunday’s action on ITV gets underway with the Listed Pretty Polly Stakes. Sacred Ground should be capable of running a big race on this step up to a mile and two as a filly by Kingman.
The John & Thady Gosden-trained runner was an encouraging second over a mile at Newmarket at the end of last season, but had previously won over the distance on debut. William Buick is aboard.
Salisbury is also covered on ITV this Sunday, with the Fillies’ Conditions Stakes covering a distance of five furlongs. Ziggy Starshine could be an interesting selection with the experience of a recent run under her belt.
She made a winning debut for Dr Richard Newland & Jamie Insole at Bath, showing plenty of battle to hold off Seed Ya Later by a neck. More to come, and that recent experience gives her the advantage in this company.
Next up is the Group Two Dahlia Stakes over a mile and one. Falakeyah could be worth giving another chance, with the Owen Burrows yard in excellent recent form.
She showed plenty of promise last season, including a win over a mile and two on this card 12 months ago. Struggled when dropped down to a mile at Royal Ascot, and likely underperformed when a well-beaten favourite in October.
One race from Hamilton is also covered on Sunday, and Square Necker looks like a standout chance in the Buttonhook Handicap.
The four-year-old showed ability over the stamina-sapping trip last season when winning over a mile and four at Dundalk. Made an encouraging start to life at his new yard when chasing home Constitution Hill at Southwell.
A competitive handicap over a mile and six is the final race on the card before the 1000 Guineas. Many Men could prove to be the value in the betting, as he takes a drop in class.
The Jim Bogle-trained runner progressed excellently as a three-year-old, winning over two miles at Ascot and finishing second by a nose in the Melrose Handicap. Disappointing on return at Musselburgh, but likely needed that run.
The feature on Sunday is the Group One 1000 Guineas. I like the chances of an outsider out-running their odds, with Karl Burke’s second-string runner being an eye-catching price.
Evolutionist meets plenty of the trends, including having previously won in at least Group Three company, and has made at least four career starts. The three-year-old is by former 2000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder, and she showed plenty of stamina on return at Longchamp last month when beating Narissa by two lengths in the Group Three Prix de la Grotte.
Was a winner over a mile at Newmarket last season, and Shane Foley retains the ride, and he has been in the saddle for both career wins for the selection.
