Stevenage are on the lookout for a new manager following the departure of Alex Revell as manager due to a poor run of results which saw the 38-year-old’s side pick up just seven points from their last 12 matches. Revell had a 26% win percentage having managed just 20 victories in 77 fixtures.

Michael Flynn Odds: 6/1
Former Newport County manager Michael Flynn is the favourite for the vacant managerial role at Stevenage, having not had a job since his resignation from the Exiles on 1st October after four years as the club.
At Newport, Flynn had a 41% win ratio, having won 102 of his 250 games as manager at Rodney Parade. The 40-year-old has already gone down as a legend at his hometown club having taken over in March 2017, with County 11 points adrift at the bottom of League Two, pulling off the great escape.
The Exiles made it to the League Two play-off final last season where they were beaten by Morecambe via a controversial penalty decision and did this on a limited budget, showing how far the Rodney Parade club have come in recent years.
Jobi McAnuff Odds: 9/1
Ex-Leyton Orient manager Jobi McAnuff is also in the frame for the vacancy at Stevenage, as the 40-year-old has experience at this level with the Orient.
McAnuff managed the Brisbane Road club 16 times last season, winning six and drawing four games having filled in as Interim Manager following the sacking of Ross Embleton, however, he was released from his contract at the end of last season having consolidated their position in League Two.
Having played for several notable clubs across his career such as West Ham, Crystal Palace, Reading and more, McAnuff will likely have a lot of contacts in the game to utilise, as well as already having some managerial spell at this level with reasonable success in such a short spell.
Andy Woodman Odds: 10/1
Current Bromley manager Andy Woodman is also in the frame for the managerial role at the Lamex.
Woodman, who is father of Newcastle goalkeeper Freddie has had an array of jobs in football, as he has been an assistant manager at Rushden & Diamonds, as well as a coach at West Ham, Charlton Athletic, Newcastle and Crystal Palace as he is friends with Alan Pardew.
The 50-year-old left his role as Head of Goalkeeping at Arsenal to become a manager of National League outfit Bromley last season, who he lead to the playoffs in the previous campaign and evidently has an impressive record with, as he has a win percentage of 55% following 16 victories in 29 matches, seeing his side sit fourth on the table.
Luke Garrard Odds: 11/1
Boreham Wood manager Luke Garrard is also on this list of those that have been linked to the job at Stevenage.
The 36-year-old has been manager of the Meadow Park club since October 2015, taking over as manager from Ian Allinson, making him the youngest boss in England’s top five divisions at the time. The former Boreham Wood player has provided the club with a stable platform, as they have finished as high as fourth and fifth in the table and are currently second-place after 15 National League fixtures.
Ian Holloway Odds: 14/1
The final manager on this list is former Blackpool and QPR manager Ian Holloway.
Holloway is known for being an enthusiastic manager who has earned sides shock promotions, as the 58-year-old has led the likes of Blackpool to the Premier League in the 2009/10 season, as well as Crystal Palace via the playoffs in 2013, of which the Eagles have remained in England’s top-flight since.
‘Ollie’s’ last job was at Grimsby Town in League Two between 2019 and 2020 where he was blamed by many at the club for their relegation, so he may be looking to prove people wrong by improving his reputation in the game once again.
