Antonio Conte Odds: 15/8

Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte is reportedly the favourite for the job in Paris.

Reports had recently emerged that Conte had offered himself to the Parisians due to the feelings that Tottenham would not be able to compete with the likes of Manchester City and Liverpool.

Speculation could heat up with the Spurs manager, as there were rumours circulating in March that Director of Football Fabio Paratici could leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for PSG, with the Italian being one of the key figures in attracting Conte to his current position.

Conte is well known for being a winner, earning six league titles with the likes of Atalanta, Juventus, Chelsea and Inter Milan and could ultimately be the one to make PSG work as hard as their supporters desire, as their front three imparticular of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are known for being lazy when their team is out of possession.

The 52-year-old comes across as a manager that is unhappy in North London despite his recent suggestions that he is committed to the club and could ultimately leave Spurs should they fail to qualify for the Champions League and right job comes up.

Conte is priced at 15/8 to replace Pochettino at PSG - click on the link to claim this bet in your bet slip!
Zinedine Zidane Odds: 7/2

Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane is the second favourite to become PSG’s next manager after Mauricio Pochettino.

The Frenchman has reportedly been in line for the job for quite some time as the Parisian club are known to be desperate to win the Champions League for the first time, which would make them just the second club to manage this after fierce rivals, Marseille.

Zidane, is actually from Marseille, but, doesn’t have any links with his hometown club and made his name at the likes of Cannes and Bordeaux before transferring to Juventus and Real Madrid in an incredible football career.

His managerial spells at Real are just as impressive as the achievements that the 49-year-old managed to have during his playing days, winning two La Liga titles, two Supercopa de Espana, three Champions League crowns, as well as two UEFA Super Cups and FIFA Club World Cups.

Zidane, has shown that he has the aura and presence to manage highly talented groups of players with big egos and a move to PSG could potentially suit the Frenchman as he would have all the tools and resources to succeed at the helm.

PSG are priced at 7/2 to appoint Zidane as their next manager.
Thiago Motta Odds: 10/1

Former PSG midfielder Thiago Motta is also in the frame for the expected vacancy at the Parc des Princes having impressed during his time with Serie A outfit, Spezia.

Having initially been one of the favourites to be relegated from Italy’s top flight, Spezia have consolidated their place for another season under the ex-Barcelona midfielder with 36 points from 37 matches, a decent tally for a side of their stature.

In his time there, Motta has won 11 and drawn six of his 39 matches in charge, fulfilling all of Spezia’s expectations this campaign.

Prior to this, the 39-year-old had a spell at former side Genoa between October and December of 2019, with the Brazilian-born coach being unable to enhance their results, winning just two of his 10 matches before being sacked.

Before both of these roles, Motta had previously been PSG’s Under-19s coach and reportedly had a series of revolutionary ideas, looking to create a 4-3-3 formation that would look more like a 2-7-2 with the goalkeeper playing like a midfielder.

Motta is priced at 10/1 to make a return to PSG as a manager.

Marcelo Gallardo Odds: 10/1

River Plate manager Marcelo Gallardo is another that has been touted for the job, despite being yet to prove himself on the European stage.

Gallardo actually played for PSG in the 2007/08 season and has had a successful managerial career back in his homeland of Argentina with another club that he played for in the shape of River Plate.

The 46-year-old’s managerial career actually started at Nacional in Uruguay where he won the Primera Division in his first and only season in charge.

Gallardo’s next job would be at River Plate, where he would go down in the club’s history as an iconic figure, having won the Copa Sudamericana in his first year, before winning the Copa Libertadores in 2015 and 2018 on top of the 11 other major trophies.

Following his successes at River Plate, there will likely be a progressive move in line for Gallardo, of which PSG could be one having shown that he has the capability to win the biggest trophies available to the side that he currently manages.

Gallardo is priced at 10/1 to move to Paris.

Carlo Ancelotti Odds: 16/1

Carlo Ancelotti is also on this list of managers to replace Pochettino at PSG.

The 62-year-old Italian has had a superb managerial career, having recently won La Liga with Real Madrid, meaning that he is the only ever manager to have won Europe’s top five leagues.

With Real in the Champions League final, there is the chance of Ancelotti winning a fourth Champions League of his career, having previously managed it with Los Blancos in 2013/14, as well as with AC Milan in 2002/03 and 2006/07.

It would likely take a substantial offer for PSG to get Ancelotti to return to the Parc des Princes, having previously had the Italian between 2011 and 2013, winning just the Ligue 1 title in his last season at the club, his only honour in France.

Ancelotti may feel that there is unfinished business at the club, whilst PSG would potentially be willing to backtrack for a manager that has made it to five Champions League finals.

Ancelotti is priced at 16/1 for a shock return to the Parc des Princes.

Thomas Tuchel Odds: 18/1

Former PSG manager Thomas Tuchel is the second-favourite to become their next manager after Pochettino due to the recent financial implications placed on Chelsea, as well as their new ownership.

The German coach managed to win the Champions League with the Stamford Bridge club in the same season that he was sacked by PSG and also holds the record for the best win percentage in Ligue 1 history. In total, the 48-year-old managed the Parc des Princes club 127 times, winning 95 of them, finishing with a 74.8% win percentage.

PSG won six titles under Tuchel and also reached the final of the Champions League for the first and only time under his management in 2019/20.

Tuchel is priced at 18/1 to re-join PSG.

Didier Deschamps Odds: 18/1

The final manager on this list is current France boss Didier Deschamps at 18/1.

Deschamps has a history in the Champions League, having won it whilst playing for Marseille and Juventus, as well as reaching the final whilst managing AS Monaco back in 2003/04.

The 53-year-old could become an option should Zidane step into the role as France manager after the upcoming Qatar World Cup later this year.

This will be the likely timing for Deschamps to make an exit for Les Blues as his side looks to defend the crown they won under his management in 2018.

Deschamps has won a total of 10 trophies in his managerial career and is priced at 18/1 to join PSG.
