Tottenham Hotspur under Antonio Conte have seen moments of brilliance at times throughout the season with having the double over Manchester City in the Premier League, however, the team seems to fall short when it comes to sustaining that quality on a consistent basis.
These stellar performances from Tottenham tend to be produced by Harry Kane and Heung-min Son as the pair have scored a combined 25 of Tottenham’s 47 league goals this season.
This may suggest that Spurs need another attacker to share out the goal tally and Gareth Bale could be just that, with Bale scoring 16 goals and getting three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions on his loan spell at the club last season. Bale may be able to help Tottenham change a few more of those dropped points into wins.
With the new loanee Dejan Kulusevski heading back to Juventus at the end of the season the club may see it more beneficial to bring in a player that the fan’s already adore and has had impressive form whenever he has put on that Spurs shirt.
