Giggs’ best run of grabbing assists came between the 1999/00 season and the 2004/05 season, where in six seasons, he totalled 62 assists, with his playing style gradually being changed from a flying winger who loved to dribble, to a playmaker with precise and excellent passing range.

Kevin De Bruyne - 102 Assists

Kevin De Bruyne is the first active player to feature in the top five, with the 32-year-old Manchester City midfielder looking to hunt down Ryan Giggs' record of 162 assists.

De Bruyne has managed to create 102 Premier League assists in 243 appearances while adding 64 goals in that time. Memorably, the Belgian playmaker managed to equal Thierry Henry's 17-year-old record in 2019/20 of creating 20 assists in a single season.

Other Active Top Assist Makers

Apart from Kevin De Bruyne who already features in the top six, Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder James Milner poses an active threat to the likes of Dennis Bergkamp, having created 87 assists in his Premier League career.
