The first tip on this list comes from the Swiss Super League where third-place Young Boys hosts St Gallen at the Wankdorf Arena looking to confirm their place in European football next season.

In La Liga, fifth-place Real Betis travels to 10th in the table Valencia in need of all three points if they are to maintain their slender chances of qualifying for Champions League football next season.

These two recently met in the final of the Copa del Rey where Betis ran out as victors following a 1-1 draw where Borja Iglesias’ early strike was cancelled out by a Hugo Duro goal, before winning on penalties 5-4.

Valencia enters this match without a win in their last five outings following two draws in a row against Athletic Club 0-0 and Levante 1-1 after their Copa del Rey loss to Betis. Prior to this, the Bats had been defeated 2-0 and 2-1 by Villarreal and Osasuna.

Meanwhile, Betis’ only victory in their last five came over Valencia, with Manuel Pellegrini’s men drawing 0-0 to Getafe and losing 2-1 at home to Barcelona last time out. Before the aforementioned fixtures, Betis has lost 1-0 at Elche and drew 0-0 away at Real Sociedad.

Barcelona hosts Celta Vigo at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night with Xavi’s side looking to wrap up second place in this season’s La Liga.

The Catalonian side enters this fixture with three wins in their last four matches, having beaten Real Sociedad 1-0, before suffering a shock 1-0 home defeat to Rayo Vallecano. However, Barca did bounce back well, earning two 2-1 victories over Mallorca and Real Betis as Ansu Fati and Jordi Alba scored late goals against the latter opponent.

Celta Vigo managed a thumping 4-0 victory over bottom of the table Deportivo Alaves last time out after earning a 1-1 draw with Granada. Prior to these results, they had been beaten 2-0 at home to Getafe, but, did defeat Athletic Club 2-0 thanks to strikes from Iago Aspas and Fran Beltran.

In the Belgian Pro League, Mechelen and Gent face off in the Play-off II Group with the away side looking to all but confirm their place in next season’s Europa League play-offs.

Last time out, Gent scraped a 1-0 victory over Mechelen as Joseph Okumu scored an 82nd-minute winner whilst Thibault Peyre received a late red card.

Mechelen had lost 4-2 to Genk before their defeat to Tuesday's opponents although they did manage 1-0 and 3-2 victories over Sporting Charleroi and Kortrijk on either side of a 2-0 loss to Club Brugge.

Gent’s win over Mechelen was their third win in four games, having also beaten Charleroi by the same scoreline after a narrow 1-0 loss to Genk off the back of hammering OH Leuven 5-0 and drawing 2-2 away at Cercle Brugge.

The final tip on this list sees Aston Villa host Liverpool in a must-win game for Jurgen Klopp’s men if they are to stand a chance of competing with Manchester City for the Premier League title.

Villa will be coming into this match with some confidence having managed 2-0 and 3-1 victories over Norwich City and Burnley in their last two outings, following a 0-0 draw with Leicester City after 4-0 and 2-1 losses to Tottenham Hotspur and Wolves.

Meanwhile, Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham at Anfield has left their title challenge hanging by a thread with three games remaining, as realistically, they must win all their games if they are to stand any chance of pipping City.

Prior to their draw at Anfield, Liverpool had beaten Villarreal 3-2 and 2-0 to advance through to the Champions League final, as well as earning crucial 1-0 and 2-0 victories over Newcastle United and Everton.
