On Wednesday night, Go Ahead Eagles and Feyenoord face off in a meeting of 11th against third in the Dutch Eredivisie.
Go Ahead come into this game off the back of three losses in a row, following 1-0 defeats against NEC and Fortuna Sittard on either side of a 2-1 loss against Vitesse. Prior to this, Go Ahead had managed a thumping 4-0 win at home to Willem II after scraping a 1-0 victory at PEC Zwolle.
Feyenoord virtually put the Eredivisie title in Ajax’s hand at the weekend when they drew 2-2 at home to PSV, after drawing 0-0 away at Marseille to seal a 3-2 aggregate victory which saw Arne Slot’s men advance to the inaugural Europa Conference League final. They also managed 3-1 and 2-1 victories against Fortuna Sittard and Utrecht.
