The first tip on this list comes from the Copa Libertadores where Argentinian side Talleres de Cordoba hosts Flamengo in Group H.
When these two sides met on matchday two, Flamengo ran out as 3-1 victors in Brazil as Gabriel Barbosa scored a penalty, whilst Everton Ribeiro fired in a brace, doing so in the 26th and 60th minutes, cancelling out a Hector Fertoli goal at the end of the first half which had initially halved Cordoba’s deficit.
Cordoba, who are managed by former Rangers coach Pedro Caixinha are second in the group with six points to their name, having beaten Universidad Catolica and Sporting Cristal by 1-0 scorelines on either side of their defeat to Flamengo.
Meanwhile, Flamengo have beaten both Sporting Cristal 2-0 and Universidad de Catolica 3-2 to maintain their 100% winning record in this season’s competition. Notably, former Inter Milan striker Barbosa scored a brace in their victory over the latter opponent.
