Footballers are often labelled with a bad reputation for their level of intelligence, with the stereotype being that they aren’t the most well-educated.
Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata did little to dispel that myth during a Chelsea training session, as he bet former teammate Cesc Fabregas that an egg would not crack on grass, no matter how high he could throw it.
So, in order to prove the theory, Fabregas brought an egg out to training with him and launched it into the air, before it then cracked upon impact of hitting the floor, much to the disappointment of Morata.
The new Monaco midfielder revealed the video on Instagram earlier today, with it more than plausible that both could secure moves this month, with Alvaro Morata linked with a move to Atletico Madrid.
If he does go before the end of the current transfer window, it would likely do the average IQ of the Chelsea dressing room some good. Watch below to see the moment Morata’s theory is shown up by his elder teammate.
