Life’s been pretty good to John Terry since hanging his boots up in the summer.
Despite offers to return to Aston Villa and more outlandish ones to move to Spartak Moscow, China and USA, the former Chelsea and England captain decided to retire from professional football in the aftermath of the play-off final defeat to Fulham.
After spending seemingly the entirety of the summer on holiday and Instagram, Terry is now back involved in football, joining Dean Smith’s coaching staff at Villa Park as assistant manager.
Things have been going well for Villa since the appointments, winning six of their eight games and are unbeaten in five matches with four wins and a draw.
He has been hands on with his approach, often getting involved in training, as this recent video clip demonstrates. Terry highlighted the skill he still has with this ludicrous piece of skill.
