Memphis Depay is a player who's always amongst the headlines, both for his antics on and off the pitch. The 24 year-old is known by fans of the Premier League after his failed stint with Manchester United between 2015-17 where he scored just 2 goals in 33 appearances. He found it tough to adjust to the demands and physicality of the game in England but since departing he's started to live up this billing which saw him impress with PSV in his homeland, netting 29 goals in 66 appearances for Lyon. He's one of the top talents not just in France but in the whole of Europe and should he become available there's bound to be plenty of interest in him.
But one slight criticism of him has been what he gets up to when he's not on the pitch. Depay lives a pretty lavish lifestyle and he's not afraid to make it known on social media, often posing in his supercars and private jets which splits opinion. Well last night he tried his hand at something slightly out of the ordinary to celebrate hitting 5m followers on Instagram - releasing a minute long video of himself rapping. The Netherlands international appears in front of the Eiffel Tower in a pretty questionable outfit whilst smoking a cigar - something that might not go down all too well with his manager!
