Sometimes in football, supporters can get too caught up in what their rivals are doing they forget to enjoy what their own team are doing.
That certainly applies to this particular Nottingham Forest fan in the below clip, who was in the home end at St. Mary’s Stadium on Wednesday night as Derby County took on Southampton in the FA Cup.
Clearly there for no reason other than to try and watch the demise of Derby, the fan was sat in the Northam stand next to the away end at St. Mary’s, spending the majority of the time he was in the ground goding the away supporters.
With a Nottingham Forest shirt on, he was eventually identified by Southampton stewards, who then proceeded to remove the supporter from the ground, but not before he was able to celebrate Saints opening the scoring through Stuart Armstrong.
Still, it was Derby fans who enjoyed the last laugh, as they again fought back from two goals down against Saints and eventually progressed to the fourth round via a penalty shootout. Watch below as the Forest supporter is escorted away on Wednesday night.
